Food use to be exceptional?? lately its been disgusting to say the least. For the last 3 times I've gone the food was horrible. I've taken it back twice before and today I went after not going for soooo many months, definitely disappointed AGAIN! Chicken extremely dry, oxtails literally nothing but fat on bones. Looked like slop they found in the back somewhere. If I wasn't so far away I'd had returned it and asked for my money back!

Honestly such a disappointment. I've been here multiple times and it's always something. The rice smelt spoilt, the food has been undercooked and salty and whoever that African girl is, always has a bad attitude. I came back before because the customer service from those 2 black girls was great. Always so helpful and accommodating but apparently now they're gone??? I will not be returning.

The service and food hasn't been the same since ownership changed hands. I ate there last week and it bothered me so much Im here next week doing the review. They gave me dry, hard chicken. The kind of dry that cuts your gums after you bite into it. I ordered jerk chicken, it's the one dish you can't mess up if you're going to call yourself a reputable Jamaican place. This used to be my favorite Jamaican spot on the North side, not anymore. The one girl who serves food is nice but she's on the phone while doing it. I shouldn't feel like I'm disturbing your conversation to get my food. She knows nothing of customer service and the owners are too docile to correct her. They don't want to lose the only Black person there, it being a Jamaican spot and all, aesthetics. The rice is good still. The greens were ok but tasted canned. But they have an 85/B health score. That compounded with everything else means sadly, as is the norm after the pandemic, it seems like restaurants just fell off. I just lost another one!

I never like to post reviews but for this one I will. Me and my husband when on Tuesday night right before 6pm to get some food ! But , One thing the food is 10/10 . The food is amazing and will definitely come back and recommend!!! But if you want to give tips for everyone that's working please stay away from the South Africa lady! Me and my husband left about ten dollars tips in the jar that goes for everyone that's on staff but the South African lady took all of it and didn't share .. we both were shocked because she didn't even do anything but stand there and everyone around was working . Next time I will make sure to say something to the manager but if you come make sure you let everyone know that hate working to spilt the tips! Anyways thanks for listening and I hope this doesn't happen again !

I have to leave a review due to the fact. One time my food wasn't right. I called and let them know that my food wasn't right and i live too far to drive back. They told me they would replace it with no issues. Two weeks later I returned with my receipt in hand. The customer service was amazing. They replaced meal, and it was even better then the first I should've got.
