Been. Customer of Lon U since it was opened and recently noticed the quality and quantity is declining while the prices are increased, very similar to most restaurants in town. However my recent take out order, was missing several ingredients, Masaman curry served with no cashew, no Avacado in a watery stew. Small portions of white rice. No napkins, fortune cookies or chop sticks. This was my favorite meal on their menu. I guess I have to move on from this place too. Sad end to a place that once served great food :(

This review is solely on the food . And criticism for the cooks and owners. This was my first time eating at this restaurant and I was excited and hungry . The waitress was great super friendly and attentive no complaints on that . But the food I ordered was DISGUSTING ! I ordered a chef special (mango chicken) . Freshly cooked food always has steam coming off of it and you can tell when something’s been freshly cooked as soon as it was Brought to the table there was absolutely no steam coming off the chicken. I decided to cut off a little piece bc It looked questionable. The chicken was room temperature And some pieces were cold ! Not only that, but the chicken tasted off almost like old chicken, it was sour and left a horrible aftertaste in my mouth . As a cook how is that even acceptable to serve? Literally no shame , I’m not the type to ever send back food But this time I had to because it was actually disgusting and cold . Thankfully the waitress removed it off the tab but I wish we would’ve sent all our food back . We got a pad Thai for my son that dish was also room temperature, chicken tasted nasty and the noodles had the oddest flavor. I just told my son not to finish it bc I didn’t want him to get sick from that and he also wasn’t enjoying it and he always gets pad Thai so he is familiar with that it’s supposed to taste like . My husband got some other noodle dish and that one was ok 4 out of 10 . The beef also tasted almost sour and it was chewy and slim . Honestly the only edible thing we had was the egg drop soups , the chips that come with it and our drinks . Everything else tasted old like it was in the back of the fridge forever or like it had been served to somebody two days ago, and they left it out on the counter and put it in the microwave to heat it up and serve . Definitely will not be coming back . And I do not recommend anyone come to waste their money here and if you are DoorDashing from this place please think twice . If they were able to serve us this kind of food with dining in, I can’t even imagine the food people are getting when getting it delivered .to the owner Hire some new cooks who actually care about food safety and quality and taste . I’m sure you’d get more clients If you prioritize that .

They charged me twice for two different takeout orders, gave me the wrong order, which my family couldn’t eat. They left me a voicemail to notify me of their mistake, and offered zero refund because they were “letting me keep the food”… When I returned Lon U’s call, first they lied to me that the manager wasn’t there. Then the manager said they’d only give a partial refund in cash if I deliver their day old takeout back to the restaurant. They accused me of trying to take advantage because I wanted a full refund for the headache caused. Then they hung up on me.
Minutes later, I received the full refund over zelle... Which means they could have just done that the whole time, but chose to demand that I come back (with my toddler in tow) and return old food for $30 cash…

Food was amazing, it filled me up real quick. The portions are amazing for the price and the way the food hits your taste buds has to be magical. The workers are so nice and the service was amazing. While the food was good and the service was good the atmosphere is amazing it matches the asian vibe for the food. The music in the back fits everything. Overall this place is a 10/10 or a 5 stars! I recommend it

We had delivery which was awesome. However, my beef in my Mongolian beef was a little chewy. It normally is very tender. Otherwise, everything was very good.
