My boyfriend and i wanted to celebrate our special occasion by going out for dinner here. We were very optimistic upon our arrival but left really disappointed. Our server was shae. When we we seated we waited for 10 minutes for her to greet and serve us. Another server had to go ahead and take our drink order. Mind you both of us work in the food industry so we were very understanding but the restaurant was slow. 1 hr 30min before closing. Maybe she was busy with her section but that wasnt the main issue. One yellow flag i noticed was when i asked her to describe the difference between the seafood tagliatelle and grouper on dirty rice she wasnt able to give an accurate description on taste. She basically just said the difference is the starch and protein, while thats very obvious given the menu description thats not what i wanted to know. Your servers should know what your food tastes like not JUST what sells the best. We only ordered entrees and drinks but our food took 30 minutes to come out. My pasta was clearly dead, the sauce created a film from the heat lamp. The pasta was salty and built a pool of grease over time. White wine cream sauce should break that badly it was disgusting. My boyfriend didnt really enjoy his food and his fries were pretty cold. Shae unfortunately didnt check on our table and prioritized her boyfriends food seated behind us. And the large party seated behind us as well. I had to ask the busser to grab me lemons. We didnt get our free bread and butter until after our food arrived. The bread used was a hoagie roll for poboys not a crusty bread like french bread. Overall just disappointed we wont be back.

Today's visit was first class. The service, food and atmosphere of restuarant was very conducive to the event planned (Marriage proposal). I'd highly recommend it to anyone who has any type of event coming in the future. I mean, Wow!! What more can I say about the place?

I celebrated my birthday today at Pappadeaux on Jimmy Carter Blvd. in Norcross. The Chef, name ERIC. Very handsome guy. Excellent Cook. He took care of our meal. He made sure that it was corrected and that it takes delicious and a serve. Tiffany was awesome. Five stars all the way around. It’s my favorite restaurant. I only have videos of the Food. I’ll try to screenshot so that I can share some photos.

Aaron’s service was outstanding. It was refreshing to go out and actually have an enjoyable experience. Atmosphere gets 3 stars because it was cold inside and no outside seating available. Gumbo seemed a little overcooked, and Catfish coulda been a little hotter. Overall though, enjoyed ourselves.
