Well I have terrible communication with people of other nationalities but I try to be as understanding as possible , I don't learn other languages because it's extremely hard for me (I have terrible anxiety) it honestly seems like they only want Spanish people there. I got the meat and cheese pupusa the first time I got it it was amazing but the other times either didn't add the cheese, barely cheese or didn't make it like the last time

Soooo good. I don't get pupusas often but was craving them. The food was warm, filling, and tasty. I really enjoyed the chicken and queso pupusa. The perfect lunch. I got three pupusas and I think that was the right amount of food. I recommend eating them with the toppings and sauce for a complete experience. Service was so nice. I received a friendly greeting and great recommendations for what to order. I ordered to go and I did not have to wait more than ten minutes despite many orders coming in. They are very popular at lunchtime! If you don't speak Spanish I recommend asking for someone who can speak English when ordering. And if you call it sounded like every order was taken in Spanish, so be prepared! Maybe brush up on your vocab and learn how to order something and how much you want.

One thing I love about Atlanta is the abundance of food options! Back home, I would have never been able to try food from El Salvador but I can in the A. I've never had a pupusa but have always been curious about how they taste. I was a bit worried it would taste like an arepa, which I do not like, but pupusas are way better in my opinion. They are still made with corn flour/meal but don't have as heavy as a taste and aren't dry and grainy like arepas. I had the chicken and cheese pupusas and it's true, two will fill you up! They were so tasty and FRESH! Seating is limited so I would not bank on being able to sit here and eat. Also, it seems most of the staff speaks Spanish as their main language. My years studying Spanish came in handy when I visited. The value of what you get vs. what you pay is very very fair.

Nice little humble spot for some great pupusas. Staff is very friendly and make you feel at home. Very authentic. Definitely will be adding this spot to my list of to go places. Great variety of food from El Salvador, Honduras, and Mexico. The horchata was also amazing !

Me and a Salvadoran friend went to get pupusa's here. Everything was very traditional and yummy. The options were very typical, nothing special but they tasted good. I would say they could use some more flavor. The pork and cheese one was my favorite. The cheese and bean one was just okay. And so was the plan cheese. They could have used more flavor. The side slaw was very yummy and the prices were reasonable. I would take it to go because the inside is not very nice. It feels similar to earring at a gas station. Over all good, traditional take out food for a reasonable price.

Pupuseria locates right next to the Brusters, in front of Dollar General shopping center. Accessible from Buford Hwy and Jimmy Carter, parking lot is a bit small so it gets filled up quick. But there's a lot of parking in the back of shopping center. The food here is always made fresh and comes out steaming. Great quality. The prices here you can't beat. This is my go too pupusa spot. The chicharron pupusas are the best, full of flavor. You can never go wrong with it or the cheese one. Very nice staff and delicious food. Worth the drive wherever you're coming from! :)

I had a really bad experience in this place I go with my family and we order our the food I order 2 baleadas this is a flour tortilla with beans eggs cheese cream and avocado but i order mine with just eggs and beans and I even tell her 3 times to make sure she understands well when she brings the order the baleadas came with cheese and cream I immediately call her and showed and she took it back to the kitchen and came back with the same baleadas they just take off the cheese and cream they reap off the tortilla and looks disgusting obviously I didn't eat it and I didn't said anything because I don't want to ruin my family time plus my husband order eggs with hot sauce on top and they didn't put the sauce and the eggs was overcooked when my husband told the waitress he wanted medium well I do not recommend this place the waitress was rude and she never came back to offer anything else we wanted more drinks.

The restaurant shares a space with Bruster's at the corner of Jimmy Carter and Buford Highway. The place is definitely a hole in the wall, but definitely has a homey feel to it. The food is definitely great and delicious. My go to order is El Guanaco and for someone like me who eats a lot, El Guanaco is surely a generous amount of food that will definitely fill you up. What makes this enjoyable to eat is that it covers your bases - refried beans, cheese, scrambled eggs, sweet plantains, avocados, meats and of course tortilla. Pretty much a sampler's plate. The only downside is when the place gets busy, it tends to take a lot longer for the food and depending on the waitress, it may be longer.

Definitely not a place to come see you if you cannot order in Spanish but it is absolutely delicious! Pupusas were on point. I've been back several times.

Very good papusas, and plenty of cabbage salad (this probably has a different name, my apologies). Nice people who will help you if you don't speak their language in kind of a hole in the wall atmosphere. This is a fun place to come to once or ever so often, but won't make my regular lunch rotation. I probably just don't love papusas, and would take an arepa down the street most days. I definitely recommend trying it, it definitely won't set you back very much.
