Went for Buffalo bills Backers party.
Excellent staff and food
Always a good time here! I absolutely love this bar, especially during football season! The best bar in ATL metro!

Went there to watch a Brewers playoff game not thinking about it being college football Saturday in Georgia. They were kind enough to put the game on a tv in front of me. I had the nachos and a few cocktails. The bartender was great. Very attentive and friendly. Really enjoyed a few hours there and will be back next time I’m in Norcross

The pizza, jumbo hot wings, the giant Tavern fish and the Cobb quesadilla are all SPECTACULAR! Absolutely love the Meatza pizza..it is very large cut in succulent squares of varieties of meat.
No problem. However, you should double the amount of lobster ravioli and make them triple the size of the lobster in the ravioli. You can also make the Tavern fish even bigger.
Today, Oct 4, 2025, I added Jalapeños, bacon bits and mushrooms on it after I ordered the usual with extra sauce and extra ground beef..so good.

Pretty nice place with usual bar food. Was tricky to get service even though not very busy. I would come back and try again.

My server was the best ! She has been there 4 years ! That says something about the owners ! The male owner seated us , he was amazing and welcoming! Our server told us about all the amazing fresh made in house items. We both had burgers , they were not frozen patties they were hand patted . The best burger we have had in a while . The onion rings were hand dipped and delicious! The atmosphere was nice and the bathroom were pretty and clean . The bartender maybe could smile a bit .
Our server needs a raise maybe bumped to manager , I can’t say enough about her !

Foods were really good but I got racist and scolded at here. She scolded me. She was a middle-aged white woman who did both serving and bartender at the same time. She was so mean 😔.

You need to know the menu or the name of the sauce. Otherwise, you'll get in trouble. The server and bartender will scold you.
The restaurant here is not an official tavern chain. The service is a mess, and if you don't know the name of the beer or what the sauce is, you'll be scolded by a white lady of a middle-aged woman who does both serving and bartender at the same time.
She was very unkind and so mean.

Stepping into Tavern at Medlock tonight, solo while my wife was out of town, was like slipping into a ‘90s Atlanta time warp - complete with old-school 40-inch TVs, back when those boxy screens were the pinnacle of sports-watching glory. The bar buzzed like a communal jukebox, alive with clinking glasses and chatty patrons swapping tales, making me itch to bring my wife next time to dive into this retro revelry.
The female bartenders, quick as lightning with a friendly grin, slung cocktails like alchemists; my Uncle Nearest whiskey neat was a smoky masterpiece poured with precision. The whiskey selection shines, though the tap beers play it safe - think classic hits, not craft brew anthems, which fits this tavern’s throwback soul.
The menu, sprawling like a diner’s greatest hits, had me skeptical about quality, but my Philly cheese steak wrap landed with bold, cheesy swagger, even if the grease left a glossy calling card.
Service was swift but leaned more “get ‘er done” than “let’s be pals,” missing that extra warmth I craved. No sweat - the lively crowd around the bar, framed by those vintage TVs blasting sports, turned strangers into fast friends, filling the gap.
With its wood-paneled charm and nostalgic heartbeat, Tavern at Medlock served up a night worth raising a glass to. I’m already plotting a return with my wife to claim our stools at this bar’s vibrant core.
