Thai Star has been a staple in Norcross for decades. Stopped by for lunch and it was packed. We were quickly served complimentary egg rolls and water. Now days you order from a tablet on the table. My wife had Pad Thai, I chose Pad Basil. Both were delicious and were plentiful enough to take some home for dinner.

was craving pad thai so we went here for lunch. I got it medium spicy and it was perfectly delicious. We also got the drunken noodles and that was good, too. I was disappointed they didn’t have the mango with the sticky rice, just custard. everything else was good, very friendly staff. Definitely will be back.

Found this restaurant some years when I worked in the area. From that time until now I make it a point to dine here about 2 times a year.
It's also a great spot for me and a dear friend to meet for lunch when we have the time.
The food here is great. And the services it very good. They check on you enough to not being annoying but just enough to make sure things are good.
Pad Thi is my favorite and it is well priced for the portions.
Great place for a nice bite.

We’ve been coming to TS for close to 10 years. Food is always fantastic, as it was again today, albeit very pricey for a lunch special.
That being said, I’m not exactly sure when the service options changed, but it was certainly not what we are accustomed to from this establishment. Table water is now served in a paper cup. Utensils have been reduced to a single fork in a wax paper sleeve. No more cloth napkins of old - small paper variety is the new norm. Servers will no longer be coming to your table to take your order. You are now required to select your order using a kiosk type tablet and ‘send it to the kitchen’ when you’re ready.
I get trying to manage costs, but doing so at the expense of a pleasant customer experience is probably not the best way to go.
Just a heads-up to all TS patrons.

This is by far my favorite Thai restaurant and it’s not close to my house. The spicy basil chicken is always consistently delicious! It cones with rice, but I always get a side of wide noodles because I like the spicy basil chicken with the noodles. The appetizer sampler is a good way to try different items. All are good. The soup and sticky rice was also very good. This is my go-to for Thai food.

I went looking for Thai coconut soup & sticky rice dessert. Both were different from other Thai restaurants i went to & craved for, this was too sour soup & sugar cyrup on sticky rice instead of thick coconut milk sauce over the rice, thus it did not satisfy me. Sorry.
