The Griddle Breakfast and Lunch

This place is a gem. Reliable, tasty, well-made omelettes and sandwiches, waffles, etc -- not fancy, but tasty and good. Coffee is great, served in metal insulated mugs. Always clean, big open kitchen. And: super inexpensive. It's in a little strip mall, kind of easy to overlook. Quite a find!

I tried this restaurant because of the great reviews. I’m new to the area and thought maybe this could be my new spot but I wasn’t impressed at all. I have to say the service was pretty decent and the place was clean but that’s about it. I had cinnamon raisin French toast but it really just seemed like heated raisin bread covered with powdered sugar, and the turkey sausage on the side was a frozen patty that was nothing special. My son had an omelet that completely lacked any flavor of seasoning and a side of grits that were topped with a slice of cheese with no attempt to mix. It wasn’t too busy but it was oddly loud inside. I was highly disappointed and we just can’t return.

So my sister and I just left the griddle located off Spalding and I want to give a big shout out to Lindsey who is the host that takes the order she was very pleasant very welcoming. It was my first time coming, but she recognized my sister and she assisted me with my order. She needs a raise for sure 🥰

great breakfast/brunch spot!!! nhan served us this afternoon and did an exceptional job managing our party of 4 and many other guests in the restaurant. food was traditional, southern-style diner vibes and tasted great. lots of options on the menu that sounded delicious. the shrimp hashbrown platter & the steak and eggs were stand-outs for our brunch today. thanks again nhan & the rest of the crew that was working today!

Service was really bad. Waiter didn't bother coming back to the table after he dropped off food. Shorted my potato's and never could get his attention to get them. Food was average.

Came in - seat yourself type of restaurant. It was somewhat busy, my boyfriend and I gave the servers about 15 minutes to approach us before we had to complain. We had been sat at the table for 20 minutes, with no greeting OR acknowledgement. At least two other tables had been approached and ordered taken before us. BOTH servers knew neither had spoken to us, they were constantly looking at the empty table. Very disappointing service. The food is good for the price - but nothing special.

Great food, great service, friendly staff, great prices. To the owners - the big blank wall would be a great place to hang some artwork or a mural to warm up the atmosphere and make it all feel more welcoming. 🎨 keep up the good work, we love this place! 🙂

The Griddle is my go-to for breakfast or lunch, whether with my wife, or a group of guys. Food is delicious. Service is friendly.
We love the diner-like atmosphere, and
it is clean as a whistle. Including the bathrooms.

Went to the Griddle for breakfast on Saturday morning. I liked the layout of the restaurant and the service was pretty good. I ordered one pancake and one french toast and one sausage. I enjoyed my meal but I want to check more items on the menu.
