It is the new location in Jimmy Carter, the place is very expanded but the flavor was left in the other location, the cakes are not toasted on the griddle like before nor is the flavor the same, very dry for my taste we ordered, at shepherd with cheese and cuban, the coffee very cold.
But the staff is friendly and we spent $25 for 2 staff.
I liked them better before.

The truth is that the flavor of the cakes has gone down a lot since it is their specialty, I ordered a Cuban cake and the sausage was not cooked, the bread is no longer toasted with butter, a tasteless cake.

I am always being harassed by homeless people!!!! Yall need to do something about that!!! The food is so good and the service is great too but I can’t ever eat in peace without a homeless person trying to get me to get him money!!! Every single visit I’ve had at tortas locas I always get bothered and harassed by those homeless people!! PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT SOON

Love the food here but hate every time I come there’s a homeless asking for money/food. It makes me not want to come to one of my favorite place.

On Sunday I was getting ready to return to Connecticut but I was craving Mexican food so I decided to put Google to do its job so it showed me this place that is near the hotel where I was staying I decided to give it a chance I and my wife ordered 2 peasant cakes along with 2 Jamaican waters and we decided to try the Menudo which was freshly made. Let me tell you, the Menudo was spectacular with an incredible delicious flavor ? ? not to mention the cakes, an incredible flavor I hope they always continue On Sunday, I was preparing to return to Connecticut, but I was craving Mexican food, so I decided to Google a place close to my hotel. I found this place and decided to give it a try. My wife and I ordered two country cakes and two Jamaican waters, and we also tried the freshly made Menudo. Let me tell you that the Menudo was spectacular, with an incredible and delicious flavor. And not to mention the cakes, they tasted incredible. It is very unpleasant to go eat somewhere, pay for your service and when they give you the food they give you the wrong order, I specified no onions, I am allergic, and apparently they understood, give me an onion cake, the cashier is quite arrogant, her attitude is very unacceptable, as a customer I am paying for my food, they are not giving it to me for free, the faces she makes, if she does not want to work she should stay at home,

Was not authentic Mexican food and the price I received was basic off my “looks” what I mean by this is there was pricing but why guess what my food cost was going to be .. and when I questioned it they don’t speak English all of a sudden sorry to be rash just don’t know a easy way to say how my experience went..

I came here with family on a Saturday , food was good but the dine in experience was unpleasant. You can smell the drain/sewer as soon as you go inside . Very bad thing to smell while eating. I ended up taking my food to go .
