Wong Kee BBQ and Peking Duck Restaurant

I had an appointment to order a roast pig at 8:30am pick up, they agreed and I asked back and forth 5 times, they said yes, but when I came to pick it up, it was not on time, the door was not open, and I waited for almost 30 minutes and then called them back, they waited 30 minutes, they apologized, had to wait 30 minutes, while my family needed the pig at exactly 9:00am for the offering 🥴
I wanted to see the manager, they spoke Chinese to each other and put the phone down without answering me, I called back, the phone was off, I had already sent $100, now I ordered elsewhere and they still didn't answer, you can't do business like that, they could have called me 1 day in advance if they couldn't do it, why would they open a restaurant that loses its reputation and has such bad customer service

paid almost $30 for the three combination bbq only (not with rice plate) and this is all we got. From others review they got almost similar amount of meat for the $16 rice dish. Very disappointing first time experience at least not worth the money

Update: Went back for lunch today. The duck was much better prepared. Delicious!

Under new management. Establishment has been renovated and looks much more appealing than what used to be here.

I got a "Pick 2" Rice plate - Roast pork & roast duck. Typical amount of meet and rice. Plate is served with pickled mustard greens. The greens were flavorful but leans more sweet than pickled.

Both meats were well seasoned. Roast pork had a good crunchy skin but I feel the duck could be roasted a wee bit longer - the fat between the skin and meat is still very thick and "fatty."

Glad these owners are here now. Adds a great lunch option.

I ordered roast pork for takeout, but what I received was mostly a piece of fat. Just look at the picture—this cut of meat is at least 90% fat. My husband even tried air-frying it to salvage the meat, but it was a lost cause. This cut belongs in the trash bin, not on a customer’s plate. It’s clear that the restaurant doesn’t care about their customers and is not trustworthy.

I ordered the Roast Duck over rice and flavor wise it was ok, but later on in the day I started to feel sick and vomited 4 times and caught a case of the bubble guts.

Oooh My... I tried the Crispy Roasted Duck for the 1st time and I will say it will not be the last... It was very well cooked but next time don't hold back on my portions... The part of the duck that was cut for me Mostly had bones and flesh... The flavor was EXCELLENT!...It's why I want more of the meaty parts cut for me on my next visit... And there are some more interesting items that I will be trying on the 2nd visit...BBQ

For 12.25$ after tax, this the delicious ?. The duck and bbq pork was flavorful 10/10, roasted pork was ok, not the best i ever had but it wasn't bad, 7/10. Like how there are pickle and dipping sauce on the side. This filled me up with left over.
