Lived in Atlanta for almost 20 years. Moved from San Diego, though I have found some good Mexican, nothing compares to this restaurant. For real authentic flavors, and the best salsa ever.

Nice place, nice service HORRIBLE FOOD! My wife and I ordered the Fajitas, which we thought were going to be presented in the traditional way still sizzling in a skillet with spices and fresh vegetables. Instead we received pre-made plates with rice and beans and the fajita meat smothered in a flavorless red sauce that resembled chef boyardee in addition to season less. Extremely shocked with the lack of flavor, needless to say we left this place still hungry and completely unsatisfied. What a waste of $50.

Zapata's is true to its names with great tacos, amazing atmosphere, and friendly staff who care about you, and the food they serve. I will definitely recommend this place to all my friends and I look forward to eating here again!

Highly inconsistent food quality! Around Easter time came with family and discovered the Birria tacos, which were so freaking amazing that we came back again today and this time not satisfied at all. One taco had already soaked through so bad by the time it got to me, could not even pick it up as a taco. Order the large guacamole so as to share with three people, and it was nothing but pico de gallo and literally three little pieces of cheese. If there was any avocado in it at all, it was a tiny little piece. Definitely not worth the money. It’s batting about 40% for us right now. Increased prices decrease quality. Shame.

Dining right now, disappointed they charge for salsa beyond the 1st bowl, $8 for guacamole (small bowl, not worth the money), we then ordered a Molcajete - meat extra, no substitution (for mushrooms we are allergic to) and when we asked for salsa refill - we get told its extra! Thats ridiculous!!

Wouldn’t recommend as its not worth the money for the portions we are getting.

AMAZING food… but the hostess truly stole the show

I came in for tacos after the concert and left totally stunned by the hostess. Honestly the most beautiful person I’ve seen in a long time. The service was great, but seeing her genuinely made my day. I’ll definitely be back… maybe for the food, maybe just hoping to see her again 😂😂🙃
