Stopped in for sweets and bought 3 giant cookies. She was super friendly and patiently answered all of my questions about the selection. We even chatted about holiday plans like old friends. Wanted a little sweeter but overall delicious. Will return for sure.

We stopped in y'day hoping they might have some traditional empanadas. They didn't, so we opted for an apple and pineapple turnover. After breakfast, I cut in half the apple turnover. It was Delicious! The pastry was light and the filling wasn't too sweet.

The bakery is known for its wide variety of pan dulce, or sweet breads. Some of their most popular items include conchas, orejas, chocoroles, and roscas. They also have a variety of savory pastries, such as empanadas and quesadillas. The bakery is small and can get crowded, especially on weekends. But the wait is worth it for the delicious food. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and they are always happy to help you choose the perfect pastries.Overall, La Tapatia Bakery is a great place to go for authentic Mexican pastries and other Mexican dishes. The food is delicious, the service is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a taste of Mexico in Norman Park. Here are some specific things that I liked about La Tapatia Bakery:The pan dulce is fresh and delicious. The tortillas are made fresh daily. The tamales are flavorful and filling. The staff is friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable. If you're looking for a delicious and authentic Mexican bakery in Norman Park, I highly recommend La Tapatia Bakery.
