Just worked a double and went to Steak ‘n Shake in oakwood,,, I got a double burger meal and some chili,, the fries was ice cold, the burger wasn’t even done!!!!!!! And the bun was all tore up!! Like really!!!! And my chili was the worst I’ve ever had anywhere!!!!!! I took pics of the burger and wasted the money. Tried to call but couldn’t get no one on the phone!!!! Only thing good bout this visit was the cold drink(coke) I will tell anyone and everyone not to waste their time or money at the Steak ‘n Shake in oakwood! I didn’t eat none of the food!

Drive thru person was very pleasant got my food and pulled to a parking spot to eat and the burger was cold and the cheese and pickles were half way out of the bun and had 3 huge pieces of onion on such a small burger.

Just to update especially during the pandemic ,so pleased with the service and quality of the food throughout these past months and I know it's very tiring on the staff while the world eats out more looking for food. Had a chance to go by today and get me a number one with everything on it and hot fries and a sprite is that in the parking lot and chomped it down. That had to be the best burger I've had in a while in the phrase just hit the spot because it's been sometime. The team here was working their a** off and got the job done. Thanks for all you do for those of us that need to eat out it may be new rules will come about where we can tip! Love these burgers and fries!

This was my second time eating at this location and wasn't happy the first time. I thought I would give them a second chance but they failed horribly.

February 2020. We stopped in about 7pm and ordered light - fries, hamburger, common fare for Steak and Shake. The place had filled tables, all waiting for food. The waitress tried to be humorous and that was very appreciated, however it seemed most appropriate for a truck stop. She was loud and boisterous. Our food took almost 1 hour. And then it was mediocre. We have not eaten at Steak and Shake in years. This will be our last.

Was told today that this location no longer does happy hour nor participates in any of the offers you see on Facebook or on your email (ex. Free fries) we come to this location a lot for our happy hour shakes, so I’m really surprised at this new change. We won’t be coming back unfortunately.
