Catfish House Reviews
My husband and I ate here tonight 5-4-2023. The coleslaw (we each had only one spoonful) was the worst coleslaw we have ever eaten!! I had fried shrimp! It was like rubber! My husband had the catfish and he said it tasty greasy (like the grease was old in which it was fried in). We won’t be back. Charles’ Seafood in Tifton (our usual seafood restaurant of choice) is wonderful. Moral: If it’s not broke don’t fix it. Charles’ Seafood here we come.
I had the pimento cheese on a croissant and your pasta salad today at your deli and it was awesome!!!!!! So exciting to have these menu options right here in town! 5*
The catfish filets were cut too thin so they had no flavor. The baked sweet potato was burnt. Yes, burnt. The stuffed potato was blandsville. Very disappointed. We will not be going back.

The Catfish House offers a mixed dining experience. While the food is generally well-portioned and tasty, particularly known for great food and great service, the restaurant may not be the most wheelchair-friendly, with limited parking and a crowded interior. However, customers report that parking has not been an issue for to-go orders, as the restaurant staff brings food directly to vehicles. The service is fast and friendly, and they accommodate customer needs effectively. Although the menu options can be limited, they do serve kid portions with most adult meals. The quality of the food can be inconsistent, with some dishes described as bland or overcooked, but many customers have enjoyed items like the ribeye steak, noting it as one of the best they’ve had from a restaurant in years.
