We’ve only eaten here twice, however, we highly recommend this quaint, authentic Italian Restaurant. My wife has a gluten allergy and Borgo Italia has many gluten free options, especially gluten free sourdough bread (delicious). Everything ordered was absolutely delicious. The gluten free pasta carbonara was creamy and rich. The mussels are definitely a must try. Do not let this hidden gem pass you by!

I would advise against getting the lasagna. It’s just beef and lasagna noodles. There is no sauce, no cheese and no garlic or seasoning to taste. It definitely is not Italian! Dessert wasn’t much better. Save your money.

Excellent food made by exceptional people! They are from Rome and very talented. They make much of their own pasta. They are very friendly and make sure you are comfortable and well taken care of. Due to cold weather, they even invited our dogs in! I haven't had food this good or felt like part of the family, since being in Italy 10 years ago! These folks really take care of you and make you feel at home! If I could give them more stars, I would!!!

My wife and I have wanted to visit this place for a while now, but haven’t had the chance until a few days ago.
We took our extended family there for an evening dinner and we were so glad we did.
We offered mussels and bruschetta for appetizers and pastas, as well as chicken for dinner. Each of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The food was fresh and unapologetically full of delicious Italian flavor.
The service was extremely attentive. The most I’ve seen in quite a while. For example, two people were setting plates on the tables at the same time and immediately after, another person refilled our drinks. Watching everyone work in concert with the owner being the ever attentive maestro was really enhanced the experience of the evening.
To top it off, the atmosphere was super cozy. The icing on the cake was the live music. We couldn’t have asked for a better meal and experience!
Pro tip: don’t skip dessert. We were told the desserts are made in house so we went for two tiramisus and they were absolutely delicious!

BLUF: Borgo Italia is reason enough to move to Senoia. The staff was amazingly friendly and the family environment was a breath of fresh air. The food was top notch, everything I had was perfect but the lasagna stood out as being particularly great. This restaurant will be our date night scene for years to come!

We were so excited to try this place for the first time. It was a cozy place and looked like a lovely place to spend an afternoon date. Upon walking in a little girl says “you can’t come over here because I’m sick.” The girl had a tablet and it was at full volume. Given that the place was empty it permeated the entire restaurant. We asked to move to the back but the sound was just as loud back there. 1-If I’m paying for a nice meal I want to enjoy it in peace and quiet. 2- If a child is sick I don’t think sitting in a restaurant is the best place for that child to be. We left and our first time there will definitely be the last.

We visited this charming Italian restaurant on a Friday night with a 6:30 reservation. They seated us promptly, and the atmosphere was cozy with a touch of liveliness—including some traditional Italian music, which added a nice authentic touch.
The food itself was quite good—we tried the salmon and trout, and both were delicious, slightly better than expected. However, the service left a lot to be desired. After being seated, it took about 10 minutes for anyone to take our drink order, and then another 10 minutes to get someone to take our meal order. Our server, Alex, wasn’t particularly attentive or friendly, and after the food arrived (about 25 minutes later), we didn't have anyone check in on us. We had to flag down another server just to get our plates cleared.
In the end, we spent about $105 for two meals and two drinks, and while the food was tasty, the service definitely didn’t match the quality of the cuisine. We’ve been here once before when they first opened and had a better experience.
