The event space is beautiful but they are scheduling 2 events in 1 day which makes it difficult for the second event to set up and be properly ready. If you're decorating the space make sure you understand their time frames. They literally try to flip in 1 hour & the event Decorator is not allowed in while they are cleaning/flipping which makes it not accommodating. I will not recommend this place for your special day if you are hiring someone to design your event. No one should feel rushed or stressed because of a 1 hr setup time.

Their seafood entres dishes are excellent. The shrimp crab parmesian dip was very good. Crab Soup was good but needed more seasoning. Our server was great and very attentive.Kid-friendliness: My 10 year old grandson loved the chicken & waffle.

The server was very attentive. I had crab cakes here a few years ago, but don't recall them being so full of fillers. I personally prefer lump meat crab cakes. The she crab soup also seemed to lack crab meat (not made like the she crab soup in SC), however it was seasoned well.

My first time visiting Due South and everything was awesome. Our server Darren did an excellent job of giving us options to start off with. The food was hot, fresh and had excellent flavors. The restaurants atmosphere was nice and pleasant. Due South I will visit the establishment again.

So, we decided to give Due South a try. The hostess and wait staff were very nice and took very good care of our party. Then, there was the food......... The biscuits in a bucket were bland and dry with very little flavor. No mussels were available today. The She Crab soup was good. The Fish and Chips was good. The Salmon was good. The shellfish pasta was good. The Hamburger was just okay especially when there was no white cheddar on the "Big South" The Shrimp and grits was okay minus the shrimp fecal matter that was not properly removed. The oysters (Due South(cooked/broiled) were terrible! Salty(like licking a salt lick) not shucked properly (they had to be dug out from the shell), and were Ice Cold. While we definitely did not leave hungry, I was disappointed by the poorly prepared oysters. I guess it is true that seafood is better at the beach. The bar was lively and several diners seemed to be enjoying their drinks. Try if you would like. I don't think we will be coming back.

The salmon was really good, cooked very well. The she crab soup was not so good. The fried green tomatoes were over cooked. The alligator tail was actually the best I've ever had. The waiter was friendly and very accommodating. I would come back for that salmon, for sure.

Had a family gathering for lunch yesterday at Due South, unfortunately ,3 out of 5 ordered the crabcake sandwich. It had hardly any crab in it. Better name for the sandwich would be a bread stuffing sandwich. We were all disappointed in our selection.
