Ichiban Japanese Sushi Bar & Grill

We had lunch with our son at Ichiban's today. We had been here several years ago and enjoyed it then and we enjoyed it this time as well. Son ordered the Shrimp Teriykali Bento Box which came with miso soup, 4 California rolls, a side salad and white rice. He also ordered the Eel avocado cucumber rolls. Hubby ordered the Beef Teriykali Bento Box which came with mushroom soup, 4 california rolls, an egg roll and fried rice. For his drink he ordered a Pomegranate martini. I ordered the 3 sushi roll lunch. I got the Seafood Maki, the White Tuna and scallions, and the Christmas rolls. It came with miso soup and a garden salad. For my drink I ordered the Peach sangria. For dessert, we shared the 15 oversized donut holes with chocolate sauce. Everything was well made and very tasty. Our server was very attentive, checking on us several times.

We just picked up a to go order and were surprised to see a 15% gratuity already added to the bill. We’ll find another place to order from in the future.

Left my Louis Vuitton purse there by mistake because I was busy with my toddler. It fell on the floor as per footage. The camera does not show the table but shows me arrive with purse. Jonathan manager was kind enough to show me footage. The purse clearly just disappears, nobody knows where it’s at, nobody saw it. One person sat after me two hours later, but the table was cleaned prior to them regardless. Someone has to know where the purse went, and it’s someone who works there. There is only one camera there apparently they are not prepared for anything like this so I am sure that someone who stole my purse is someone who knows the camera system. I would never go back as a patron who often visits twice a month. They are not trust worthy clearly, who’s to know what they do to the food. I even feel bad saying that but after seeing the camera footage, a bag doesn’t disappear into mid air.

The filet and chicken hibachi was amazing. My boyfriend had the Halloween role and loved it.

will not be back. ordered to go and servings were small, ordered pork dumplings and got chicken. no chop sticks or soy sauce.

The sushi was... Okay. The other food wasn't great but overall it's a nice little place.

I’ve been coming here for years & I love this place. Sushi is always fresh and their prices are so good— trying to get sushi in central Atlanta is such a ripoff. I try to come here when I’m in town to get my fix lol. Don’t listen to bad reviews, this place has put out great food for years!!! Their spicy tuna roll is still the best I’ve ever had.

I hadn't been here at all since they opened as I'm not usually on this side of town. Decided to stop in fir the first time. Sat down, but almost immediately walked out due to the weird smell and dirty atmosphere. This establishment needs attention.
