L&L Hawaiian Barbecue

If you want Hawaiian food this is pretty much your only choice but its a good one. Very on par with many food shacks in hawaii. Dont be afraid to try new things. Loco moco, lau lau and masubi??

First time eating at any L&L and it will not be the last! We had little idea what to expect and were amazed at the variety of items available on the menu. I went with the meat platter and my wife went with the garlic butter shrimp. The food was delicious and plentiful. They had real Hawaiian soft drinks in a can that were delicious as well. Staff was phenomenal. Hawaiian music playing in the background. All in all it was a very nice dining experience and we have a large menu to work through now. Definitely recommend!

Let me start off saying when you walk through the door you greeted with a hello and a smile from Josiah. Who was also our server. Great service, food came out hot and was delicious. We ordered (2) BBQ mixed Short Rib, (1) Pulled Kalua Pork w/cabbage, (1) Loco Moco, (1) Spam Musubi and Hawaiian Sun to drink. Apologize for forgetting the owner name. He was friendly and very sociable. My husband and him talk about Hawaii. Beautiful pictures of Hawaii on the wall. Great place to eat some Hawaiian food if you from Hawaii. Next time will order the Laulau plate.
You will not be disappoint.

Would not recommend. The steamed veggies were not fresh, and the sauce on the bbq chicken was way too salty.

This was my first time trying this place and will be my last. The food is horrible ?!! At least what I ordered was terrible--I ordered some Hawaiian dish--fried chicken katsu, which was supposed to be a restaurant specialty, it was ? not! They swapped it for the grilled version--it was better, but still lacking in flavor.

I ended up changing to something different and just powered through it and threw the rest away!! I don't think even the starving should be held to eating that food!!

For my first time I thought it was good? I ordered the barbecue chicken plate (mini) and it was just enough for a lunch meal. We sat outside because the weather was really nice and the seating is covered. The sticky rice and macaroni salad was on point and the chicken was nicely seasoned. The chicken was a little fatty on some parts but it was still good. Spoiler alert, they don't serve Hawaiian rolls with the meal. I want to go back to try the Katsu chicken and maybe the Spam sushi.

White rice, reheated frozen veg, small amount of meat in a sweet sauce - 11$.

They were kind and friendly but the food had lots to be desired. It did not seem value for money or something to return to.

They cook the food to order so there is a wait but totally worth it. If you don't want to wait order on line

We thought the food was just delicious!! Been there 2x now. Ordered BBQ chicken, mixed BBQ and the kalua pork. All very tasty. The portions are quite large.
The atmosphere got only 3 stars because it's basic, fast food place. But the food is not fast food tasting! Have to wait several minutes for them to cook. Can't wait to get the other dishes or just order the kalua pork or the BBQ chicken again!!
