I’ve been a loyal Mellow Mushroom fan for years, and as a former trainer or 'employee' across multiple locations and franchises, I know the level of quality and atmosphere the brand strives for. The Peachtree City location certainly holds up its end when it comes to the food—the pizza was well-prepared, toppings were fresh, and everything met the standards I’ve come to expect from Mellow Mushroom.

However, the overall environment left something to be desired. During my visit, I could clearly hear negative conversations and unprofessional talk coming from the kitchen staff. Unfortunately, this made it difficult to fully enjoy the dining experience, despite the food being excellent.

Mellow Mushroom has always been about more than just great pizza—it’s also about the welcoming, laid-back atmosphere that sets it apart. While Peachtree City delivers on the food, improving the professionalism and environment would go a long way toward making this location live up to the brand’s full potential.

Love the new remodel and the good OS there best pizza in Atlanta, However , who changed the pretzel recipe? They used to be thick and soft last couple times we got them they were thin and crispy. Not good past fix that.

If you are wanting to go in a pizza spot in Gainesville Ga, this Mellow Mushroom is unlikely to disappoint. The restaurant is always PACKED inside and out during busy hours, but once you are seated, the atmosphere and service are both excellent and in my experience, (4-6 times) sitting and eating at this restaurant is fantastic.

If you are ordering delivery or carry out however, for whatever reason, the pizzas are ALWAYS undercooked and underwhelming. I live roughly a mile from this restaurant, so I would expect fresh and toasty pizzas any time I pick up or have a delivery (I’ve had each on multiple occasions). Undercooked is almost never the only issue with the pizzas as well. At times, they have entirely forgotten toppings, forgotten to add bbq sauce to the bbq chicken pizza, and even forgotten to include entire sides with the order.
