“I have been eating at El Ranchero for over 35 years. The food is always awesome. A family owned restaurant. I think it’s the BEST Mexican in town!!!!“

“My husband and I have been coming here since we moved here so so many years ago. It was always an easy in and out place to take our kids and not feel as if we were inconveniencing anyone. The lunch specials were always a great deal for the amount of food on the plate and the fresh guac amazing! It’s family owned and run so you see the same folks each time and they remember you and always make you feel at home. Any food restrictions or accommodations…within reason…it is Mexican food…we have asked for were always able to be met. We continue to pop in there when we are that way. I gave the rating of a five star for the food but honestly I always get the fajitas and guacamole and deserts. If you are looking beyond that…my review may not help!“

“I don’t know what all the complaints are for, I love this restaurant. I’m a Caribbean Latina and I’ll be honest, I really don’t like Mexican food especially when they don’t have dishes like Mojarra, pozole, or caldo de mariscos or just a lot of marisco dishes in general but this place is very good. The food is very well seasoned, steaks are legitimately cooked to the temperature you asked for and the servers are so nice. The music and decor add to the experience. And the drinks are strong ! Large portions I like this place. I will also say, that if you’re in a hurry, go to a taqueria or better yet, get Taco Bell. This restaurant isn’t about rushing people out. 5 stars for me and I’ve been here multiple times now.“

“I placed a to-go order for a large cheese dip, large salsa, and chicken and rice soup. I was told the order would come with two small bags of chips. Since I ordered large sides that are typically eaten with chips, I asked if I could get additional chips and was told it would be $6.99 more. That just felt a bit expensive considering what I had already ordered.

I will say the chicken and rice soup was very good and I really enjoyed it.“
