Attended a birthday party at Murph's tonight, and everyone had a blast. Great food, drinks, atmosphere, and people. Highly recommended.

Turn the loud music off in the restaurant. Leave it in the bar. Noone wants to yell to carry on a conversation in a restaurant.

Made a reservation with Open Table for 6pm. Seated right away and ordered by 6:15pm. Caprese salad appetizer arrived promptly. Entrees arrived 7:10pm. Mahi Mahi was very tasty. The Skillet Extravaganza was fantastic. We split it between two people as it was a lot of excellent food. Only knock was the lemon rice was very lemony. The painfully slow service was almost enough to ruin the entire meal.

If you get a chance to go to their once a month wine dinners be sure and go. Excellent wine and food. Great way to experience unfamiliar wines and new dishes. Fun all the way round. Good value for what you get.

Drove over from Newnan expecting the same wonderful experience my wife and I enjoyed here on our last visit 5 years ago. We were disappointed. I understand the impact that the pandemic had on the restaurant industry, but how long will restaurant management lean on that excuse? a) 4 in our party with a 6:30 Friday seating waited an hour for the food. Reason given (when we inquired after 30 mins.) was that there was a party of 10 there. b) At the 30 minute mark we asked if we could have our salads. We had to ask. The Cesar dressing was mostly mayonnaise. We couldn't figure out what the balsamic was. c) Food arrived and 2 of the 4 entrees were not hot, suggesting that they were plated much earlier than the others. d) Food quality, taste, freshness, was disappointing. e) Management response upon hearing our feedback on the experience was also disappointing. We declined the offer to adjust the bill. We also told her that we would come back again to see if our experience was just a "one off" and expressed our sincere hope that it was. We dine out three or four times a month and are accustomed to paying a little more for quality food and good service. We prefer to support locally owned businesses. I hope Georgia Shrimp Company management takes this review in the spirit it is intended.

I remember when I first discovered this place after it opened, and I still always eat there whenever I am in town...!!! Love it...!!!

I went Georgia Shrimp Co. for a five course wine dinner. I must that the wine pairings with the food was excellent. The wines were Chilean organic wines which are among my favorites. Especially the Primus Carmenere and Primus the Blend which I never had before. The presentation of the food and wine was outstanding. Also, the wine expert took the time to stop by and check on us. He wanted to know if we were enjoying the wines (which we were). It all made for a great evening. The food, wine, service, and atmosphere were wonderful. I will definitely be stopping by Georgia Shrimp Co again.

We have eaten here a couple of times. The service is excellent and the food is too. We had the calamari which was crispy and flavorful. Followed by the skillet seasfood (shrimp and bass). And fried shrimp dinner. Both dinners were very good.

I don't recommend this restaurant to anyone that is of Africa or brown complexion. The food was good the bartender (young lady) was very courteous. The atmosphere is fine if you are Caucasian. THE ATMOSPHERE WAS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE, I HAVE NEVER FELT SO TENSE SITTING AT A BAR WHILE DINING. IT MAY NOT MAKE A DIFFERENCE,, HEED MY ADVICE SPEND YOUR DOLLARS ELSEWHERE. Contrary to what some may think of us, most of have. just as much money, class and decorum as any other race. I will never dine there again. It's a shame the more thing's change the more they stay the same.

We attended the last wine dinner at the Shrimp and the food was excellent. I believe one of the owners, Dee Murphy, was the chef. We especially like their basa dishes, their fried shrimp and oysters, and crispy calamari. We are looking forward to the return of music to The Shrimp with the Charlie Brown Christmas show on Dec. 16th.
