Some of the best food I've ever had that atmosphere was fantastic! The chef was amazing! And they need to be put on Atlanta Eats just saying!

Stopped in here for lunch. Service was fast and the hot sandwich was very tasty. The price was also reasonable. I will be back.

Elna was the BEST server! We dined at this restaurant for a galentines and had the absolute BEST experience. Beth made sure our reservation was prepared before we arrived. The food was genuinely delicious and don’t even get me started on the desserts - amazing! Overall wonderful dining experience. This was our 2nd trip here, the first was for Sunday brunch which was a good experience, so we tried Saturday night for a birthday treat for a good friend. We had a party of 5 and it was a ho-hum experience this time. It is a bit pricey which if the food is incredible it would be worth it, but the food is very inconsistent. Two of us had the steak tips, both steak tips were very good, however the potatoes and veggies on both dishes were luke warm, and hard. Not sure how you miss this. My wife's mushroom risotto was also just luke warm. The other 2 dishes in our party we're OK. No bread was offered, the pours on the wine were very small. I will say the staff was very nice and attentive. But you go there for the food and the quality falls well short. We don't believe in sending food back, we just expect a restaurant that charges these prices to serve food that is cooked and served hot. We liked the atmosphere on our first visit, but we were seated by the door on a cold night and there just weren't any precautions taken to insure the tables by the door would not stay cold all night.

Lovely and very welcoming restaurant! Wonderful for a date night. The staff were great from making reservations, through the end of our meal. Our server was one of the owners, he provided great recommendations and was attentive to every detail. It was a treat! Menu featured a wide range of high end offerings and is priced accordingly. Most of the items we ordered did not disappoint. We started with a smoked old fashioned and a side car cocktails, and both were excellent. Hubby tried the gumbo and liked it, although having family from Louisiana he noted it was not traditional. We also shared the wagyu beef carpaccio, which was lovely, and splurged on oysters with caviar.. I have to say, it was worth it. The oysters are served with just a small lemon wedge and rightly so, the caviar balanced the oysters perfectly, and any horseradish or mignonette would have overpowered the delicate taste. For mains we had the fillet and muscles. Hubby's filet was over, but as soon as he cut into it, our server noticed and immediately asked to take the plate back. The filet was very good once redone, but the rest of the plate was not up to par. The potato salad was drastically under salted and a bit undercooked. Veggies were barely blanched and almost raw. Now, don't get me wrong, I like my veggies al dente, but in this case, Hubby had a hard time cutting through the baby carrot with a knife. The muscles on the other hand stole the show! I could take a bath in that sauce! And I will definitely make time to come back just for that dish alone! So overall, a very good experience, with just a few misses, but absolutely worth another visit!

My expectation for a refined dining experience in both price and menu was unfortunately unmet at this casual restaurant. Service and flavor were the major letdowns. The kitchen, seemingly understaffed with an unknown team size, faced challenges handling just three tables, leading to notable delays in serving. The taste, while acceptable, lacked the distinctive quality one would expect given the associated price. Furthermore, the recurring inclusion of strawberries on every plate left me puzzled, as its relevance to the overall dining experience was unclear. In summary, this restaurant fell short of delivering the fine dining experience it aimed for, with service and flavor issues overshadowing its potential.

We stopped by The Alchemist yesterday on our way to the airport. I'm so glad we did! The service was fabulous (a shout out to Kristine the bartender who was delightful)! It was pretty slow while we were there and the staff was meeting to talk about menu, etc. We spoke with the head chef as well who was so friendly. I had a cocktail which was delicious! I could've knocked back 10 of them, easy! I had the ALC Salad which was beautiful. I wasn't very hungry, so I'll have to go back for some of their specialties.

This place was fantastic. The food was perfect and rich in flavor. The Crab and asparagus soup was to die for. If you get the golden fork, be prepared for a treat (I won't spoil it, but you want the golden fork). The service was perfect. Our waitress was attentive and knowledgeable. Her food choices were spot on. The ambience was great. The low lights gave such a calming and relaxed feel. A+. Peachtree City must try.

Chose this as this year’s “Christmas Date Night” which we do the weekend before Christmas each year. We seek out a place we’ve never been, and try them out.It was a last minute decision to try here, so we had to get early reservations. And by the time we left, it was getting pretty packed. That’s because The Alchemist is absolutely amazing! There was perfect, and plenty to eat, portion-wise. The bartender made a delicious Lemon Drop, which was “off-menu,” and the menu drinks were amazing as well. But the food… WOW! We had the marinated steak tips and the tenderloin filet, both of which were able to be cut with a fork and were some of the best steak we’ve ever had. Complimented by the Chef’s delectable sides, we had room for dessert. Next time, we’ll save room for the Lemoncello Crème Brûlée.If there’s any thing at all I could improve - which would be difficult in this structure - it would be to control the echo and general din when another party in the restaurant gets loud. Otherwise, the atmosphere is quaint and generally intimate. This is definitely a place you should check out.

This restaurant is as decorated with ambiance as the plates are filled and presented with savory morsels of fine cuisine! Ken (the chef and restauranteur of this dining experience) pays a brief visit to each table. His warm company is as congenial as his tasty creations delight your palate — his conversation measures equally for your spirit. It’s refreshing for someone to clearly love what they do, express appreciation for patrons coming to partake, and gather an amazing team of cheerful and accommodating people to round off an evening of a well-spent dollar in food! What a find! I’d make a road trip to this place and here it is — one-year in our own community!Thank you all at The Alchemist for a memorable evening during our holiday and thank you, Ken, for sharing your profound talent with our corner of Atlanta!Parking: Easy access from 74 spacious and safeKid-friendliness: Lovely family joined us next door, high chairs brought out, etc.

I loved this place. Great food and drink menu. Cooking for flavor and food experience. Everyone in the area needs to go at least once. Favorite spot in PTC.
