I ordered the Barbecue Shrimp with Grits and it was the best meal I’ve ever had in Peachtree City or maybe anywhere! The shrimp was like butter it melted in my mouth. I highly recommend this place! The chef was excellent, and he even visited our table. The whole staff was very friendly! You must try it!

The food and wine were fantastic. Everything was fresh, and especially enjoyed the chicken curry dish. We opted to sit at the bar and enjoyed the chef and staff. Felt like family.

We had the French onion soup as an appetizer it was delicious could use just a little bit more salt but that is a totally understandable in a restaurant. We had the Shanghai pork belly absolutely delicious and the flavors were spot on the pickled carrot daikon delicious. For entrées we have the fish and chips which were really good as well, not greasy and flavorful. We also had the Black Diamond Steak Tips, I asked for them mid-rare they came out mid-rare, great flavor, delish, I didn’t taste any horseradish with the red bliss potatoes but there was plenty of roasted garlic. The sautéed kale was delicious great fresh lemon added to it. Needless to say we took home leftovers. The staff was Intentive didn’t have to ask to get our water refilled. Can’t wait to go back and try some more.

Great food and atmosphere at this neighborhood bar/restaurant. The Salmon BLT and Fish And Chips were perfectly cooked. Interesting and nice Farm to Table menu. Good service and courteous! Enjoyed chatting with the chef who came out to check on us!

We were excited to try Walnut Tavern after looking over the menu online. They have no drink menu which I found odd. We inquired about wines and beers, which they do have, just no menu with the offerings and pricing. We all ordered wine and several of the wrong types were brought out. We got the Poutine fries as an app, they were delicious. Can’t say the same for the gumbo. It was edible; however, if there were shrimp and sausage in it as stated, they were very microscopic pieces. I got a wedge salad which was not a wedge of lettuce but a plate of greens. It stated it has bacon on the menu, my salad was absent of bacon. Two people at our table ordered burgers, both were grossly undercooked. Unfortunately the service was mediocre as well. The restaurant was fairly empty- three tables dining total- and dishes were not being cleared. There was a table next to us that left about 15 minutes after our arrival. Their table was never cleaned or cleared during our two hour dinner. Overall not impressed and won’t be going back.

The ambiance wasn’t great, and our waitress rushed us. However, the food was incredible.

The menu looks great but the soup and salad were bland and the burger was undercooked/fries were soggy. The rest of the table had a similar inconsistent experience. Very slow even though it was empty. No drink menu so come ready to order and hope they have it. Total amateur hour. Plenty of other places nearby to spend your hard earned money.

I was super excited to try this place out after all the reviews but after eating there I just don’t get the hype.I ordered a chicken dish which was good but not amazing. There was way to much sauce and not enough food. The same can be said about the shrimp dish my boyfriend had. There was a tiny scoop of grits, maybe 5 shrimp, and a ton of sauce. He couldn’t eat the sauce because he didn’t have a spoon and we weren’t able to get our waitress to come over. For the amount of food we got it was definitely NOT worth $45….Also the chairs are extremely uncomfortable. It’s safe to say we won’t be going back and I won’t be recommending this place to others.

Walked in. Sat down, very rude gentleman brought us water. No wine list, no drink list, no beer list. He just waved his hand towards the bar and pretty much said that's what we have. He really seemed like we were bothering him. So we left! 0 ⭐

We went this afternoon and had the fried mushrooms and the fish and chips. The mushrooms were cold when the finally got to our table. The fish was soggy and not crispy. We won’t be back. Disappointing..

The food was great (steak tips / French onion soup) and the staff were friendly. Free first round of beer and $3 wine Wednesday is a serious draw card.It was a shame that several things were off the menu (just print a new menu or have a chalk board of what’s available??) and the chairs were uncomfortable and not conducive to sitting and enjoying a long dinner.I really hope this place succeeds. With a few tweaks to the availability of food and drink in the menu (and change the chairs???) it could be a great place.

We had a full course meal with appetizer, meal, and dessert. The presentation of the food was beautiful. Waitstaff was friendly and pleasant. The chef came out to welcome us and ask how we liked our experience. Five stars from us!

I had a great time at this restaurant. The food was really good, we ordered the poutine, wings and creme brulee. We also had drinks, which were very good. A great neighborhood bar/restaurant.

Food was great, had a great server who was over worked, but still took great care of us.

This place was amazing! The 32yr old family recipe steak tips were phenomenal as well as the bread pudding. The executive chef and his daughter came out to meet us multiple times to converse. Great vibes and even better food. I live in Atlanta and this was the only restaurant in the bubble that compares to what I’m used to eating in the city.
