First time ever visiting Cava. Really enjoyed our experience. The food was fresh and the employees were pleasant. A special shout out to Big Ben...he is a big part of the success here. Thankful for the joy that he's spreading. We will be back.

Derek is awful. Every time I had to deal with old tall afro male employee named Derek, his behavior came across as extremely rude, disrespectful and unnecessarily aggressive. He didn’t just treat me this way but also acted the same toward my colleagues who came with me for lunch, which made the whole situation even worse. In my opinion, his attitude created an uncomfortable and completely unprofessional atmosphere. the rest of the staff were polite and genuinely professional, which made Derek’s behavior stand out even more.

I really appreciated my first Cava experience while in NC, so I said let me get some Cava today since I always pass this location. I should've kept passing lol - I'm kidding. Seriously though, I made a mobile order. When I picked it up, only 1 person on line while 3 were in the back. They could've been on break or cooking, ok, not a big issue for me ( just something I noticed). I stood in line since their was just 1 on line... didn't want to overwhelm him. Another employee comes out to help; great fantastic 👏🏾

I finally get my order and the portion size looks off and something is missing. Remember my opening statement, I'm a newbie, maybe it's possible I missed where you could choose half/whole bases. It was listed like that on the ticket though. I assumed and I fault myself, but my beloved cucumbers were left off. The only thing to add a crunch to my bowl was that stale,crunchy atmosphere inside. They just didn't seem like they cared to put on a front like they wanted to be there. Maybe I was picking up on the low lighting, idk, but the energy could use a pick me up.
