Walked in and stood around for a minute looking at the empty, dark restaurant and finally noticed the host desk in the corner (who didn’t greet us or say anything as we stood by), proceeded to aimlessly scroll her iPad and say it would be an hour wait at an empty bar and restaurant. Needless to say she didn’t want to serve us, so we went to Mojitos in the same plaza and had a great meal with amazing service (Made sure to tip extra generously after my horrific stop at J. Alexander’s ;). Do better at hiring hosts!!! They are taking money away from servers and owners!

The quality of the steak has really gone downhill. It is very chewy and not what it used to be. I guess that makes sense, with the price of everything nowadays.

I ordered everything up front and Asked Ny Waiter/Waitress, If they were able to course things out. They said Absolutely. So I order a Drink. Everything else.

Appetizer shows up. Cool.

Then salad 45 seconds later.

Then cocktail 8 minutes later.

Food 1 min later.

I was given my Appetizer and My Salad before my Drink🤣

A manager was the one to drop off our salads, could plainly see we hadn't even touched our app yet.

Food was great. Not sure what the rush was all about!

Our server was absolutely fantastic—friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. I wish I could remember if her name was Ty or Ky, but either way, she was a standout. Great service all around!

We made reservations (recommended) and were seated within minutes of our arrival. The serving staff was pleasant and accommodating. Most of the food was excellent. The mashed potatoes were over-salted.

You know I eat here because my boss likes it at least once a month. All the stakes are good overpriced there's nothing special about them that much. I got a grilled chicken salad the other day with no grilled chicken It's basically deli meat. You grow does a very specific taste It's not grilled chicken. Also the vinaigrette had no taste to it it literally tasted like oil. So disappointed with this place service is always average. Although it was pretty good today.

Invited 2 out of town guests to J. Alexander’s, Peachtree Pkwy, yesterday! They loved the fried calamari (perfectly tender inside and crisp outside)! Our entrées (main courses, really, bcoz Entrée is French for appetizer) consisted of the Salmon (cooked perfectly) & Burger (asked for Medium
came out well done) for our friends, the Cod Fish Taco for my wife & the Prime Rib French Dip for me! Everyone loved their MC!! My French Dip was the Best I ever had - piled high, pink roasted tender beef with the Jus & Horseradish. The fries were absolutely great! My wife loved her Fish Taco and Rice ‘n Beans side, however they could have used less (1/2 less) cole slaw & more Cod (1/2 more) in the Tacos.
Our server, Jacob was exceptional, and right on top of our every necessities. Professional & knowledgeable for sure!! Thanks Jacob!
One small detail though… the silverware needs polishing before being given to us in a napkin roll up - an easy task the servers should easily administer to.

We picked up dinner from J Alexander’s for the first time last night and I have to share , the service was so kind , so nice & the food.. the food was Marvelous!!! Super delicious!!! Everyone should give J Alexander a try & their pallets a treat ☺️🫶

The food was good. I really enjoyed my crab cakes. I also had the midnight margarita which tasted great. The only complaint is the noise level. It's very hard to have a conversation with someone sitting right next to you.
