Damion was our Waiter! What a fantastic experience of the best service- always had what we needed immediately and didn’t have to ask! The best service I’ve had in years! Highly recommend him- and the food excellent!

Came here yesterday for the first time to celebrate Father’s Day! My brother and Dad really enjoyed our food and drinks. Our server Jada was lovely too! Loved the espresso martini and lemon drop.

I usually go to the Dunwoody J. Alexander’s for lunch…..love their Cypress Salad, but tonight decided to try the Peachtree Corners location for dinner, and they did not disappoint! The food was just as good, and the vibe good too.

Our appetizer took a little longer than usual, but the server was on it, he apologized and even comped it without us saying a word. That kind of service goes a long way and shows they really care about the guest experience.

Everything else was perfect. Great menu options and food consistent.

So disappointed - came for birthday. Put it in reservation. Never offered dessert. After several martinis, didn’t realize until we left.

Service was phenomenal. Servers were knowledgeable and kind, with a personable manner. Food servings were huge, while being perfectly seasoned. Steak was cooked medium to perfection and served hot. Desserts were SO good.

After hearing so much buzz from locals and reading glowing reviews, I decided to give J. Alexander’s a try. The restaurant’s interior was spacious, clean, and we were seated promptly, which set a positive tone initially. Our server, though friendly, seemed inexperienced, but still recommended their signature dishes—the prime rib and the French dip sandwich. My fiancé opted for the steak and fries, while I went with the prime rib. For a starter, we ordered the grilled artichoke hearts, hoping for a flavorful beginning.

Unfortunately, things took a downturn from the first bite. The artichoke hearts were a disappointment—barely any edible meat and overwhelmingly salty. I expected the prime rib to redeem the meal, but it was underwhelming, lacking the richness and tenderness I’ve enjoyed at other establishments. My fiancé’s steak didn’t fare any better—sadly comparable, if not worse, than what you might find at a Golden Corral buffet. The only highlight? The fries, which were crisp and well-seasoned.

After only a bite of our entrees, we knew we couldn’t continue. We politely shared our concerns with the server, hoping for some acknowledgment of the subpar food. To our surprise, the response was simply, “Would you like a to-go box?”—a reply that left us stunned. Instead, we asked for the bill. As a consolation, the server offered us a slice of carrot cake. No apology, just cake.

While the carrot cake was a small gesture, it couldn’t salvage the meal or the experience. At over $100 for two people, the food felt either bland or overwhelmingly salty—certainly not worth the price tag. With so many other great dining options in the area, I’d strongly recommend exploring those instead. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!

Okay, this is going to sound weird, but this place has the best chicken tenders ever. I know... you can get those almost anywhere, but they are totally next level here. They are crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside (dammmn, I sound like a commercial). It comes with french fries and coleslaw. I don't normally like coleslaw, but theirs is reeeeally good. My mom and I usually order a baked potato in place of the french fries. It's $30, but it's easy to stretch into 2-3 meals (we take home the leftovers). Oh, and as you see from the pic, it comes with yummy sauce for dipping (we get extra). The honey mustard is to live for!!! The atmosphere is nice too. The people who work there are always attentive and accommodating. It's upscale, but not too fancy. Yup, we like it there a lot! There are several locations. We usually go to the one in Peachtree Corners (near The Forum). UPDATE: We went again about 2 weeks after I wrote this review. This time, we had fish tacos. OMG, they were amazing!!!! The fish, the fresh avocado, the jalapeño ranch dressing, sooo delicious! I highly recommend! ???

Our first visit to this restaurant with my son was a positive one—the food was good, and we enjoyed the overall experience, which made us eager to return.

However, our second visit was extremely disappointing. We waited over an hour with no service; our drink cups remained empty, and despite asking our server multiple times about our food, he simply said he would check and never came back. When I approached the front desk for help, they were just as unresponsive, asking for the server's name but taking no action.

After 1.5 hours of waiting, I finally spoke with the manager and explained how we had been completely neglected. To our shock, the manager revealed that our food hadn’t even been ordered in the kitchen. We left without ever receiving our meal.

I’m at a loss for why our server avoided us so blatantly and failed to ensure our order was taken care of. This level of service is unacceptable, and I would strongly advise against dining here.

I ordered take out ( cheeseburger w/ a loaded baked potato). This was my first visit to a J.Alexander's restaurant. Friendly service & the food was really good ( burger nicely seasoned). They also followed my instructions which I appreciated. Although I didn't dine in, I enjoyed the ambiance as well. I will revisit & highly recommend this restaurant.
