The Chop Barbecue/ potato salad and coleslaw!! So so good!!
Awesome food! Awesome staff! Some of the best customer service you will ever receive. They definitely do their part in making their customers happy. Highly recommended to everyone!
Best Brisket ever! and the slaw is like none other
The ribs are fall of the bone tender and delicious beyond words. I am going to try their brisket today if at all possible. I highly recommend this place as the best barbecue around hands down
Delicious!!!
When visiting family in Yankton recently, we discovered this place online and had to check it out because it's so hard to find good BBQ in the Midwest. It's just south of Yankton, across the bridge into Nebraska. It was not a disappointment. Place looks like a lodge/cabin on the inside, appears new/newer. Full bar and nice menu with lots of meat and side choices. We have been here twice and enjoyed the brisket platter and pulled pork sandwich, along with the mac n cheese and baked beans - not to mention the awesome fried pickle coins - can't miss those! Quick, friendly service. Reasonable prices. Good food - tender, flavorful meats. We enjoyed ourselves, will be back, and highly recommend this restaurant.
Love love love this barbecue master, the food is spectacular, barbecue is just perfectly Seasoned and so is the rub.
This was the first time my husband and I went dined here. The food was excellent and the prices are reasonable. There was so much food that we had to bring the leftovers home.We will be coming back real soon.
A-may-zing prime rib& sampler platter!!! We were so satisfied with our meals and sides. We will definitely go back when we're in Yankton again.
This is a small restaurant / bar across the highway 81 bridge in Nebraska from Yankton, SD. 1st impression is of a very new, neat and clean building. The same is true inside. It appears brand new, but is a few years old. Friendly staff and a short simple menu. Be aware that most sides are ala carte, but worth trying. If you like BBQ the variety of meats is great, the different sauces are all good and the beer is cold. Service is quick and the costs are reasonable. A nice place for a dinner for 2 or a smaller family group as we enjoyed about 10 days ago.
Restaurantji Recommends
This little gem is awesome, they are open in the summer Thursday through Sunday, Friday and Saturday during winter months. They smoke and barbecue everything they serve and the beans are awesome. Obviously I can’t say enough, I recommend you go there and try it for yourself.
Stopped in with our family at 6:00pm on a Saturday night and got a table by the bar. The staff was Super Friendly and the food was awesome. The beef tips were amazing and the pulled pork divine. I had the special Prime Rib and have never had better. We asked for a pound of pulled pork to go and made the mistake of opening the box. Needless to say we had to buy another pound so we could take a pound home. They have 5 different home-made Bar-B-Q bottles on the table to enjoy. The home-made cheesy potatoes and potato salad are to die for. If you find yourself in Yankton Backroad is worth the short drive across the river. ENJOY!!!
I have gotten this catered for two business meeting events and it was talked about all night long. They have a great menu and it always impresses. Prices are very reasonable for the large amount of food that you get!
