Probably the best barbecue chicken, and all of Houston County.
The sides are very good as well, the potato salad is always perfect, cowboy beans are perfect, can do yourself a favor of eating some of their banana pudding.
They are hit and miss on the dates that they are open, due to catering. But very well worth following on Facebook to catch them on the days they are open.

Good BBQ and generous portions. The ribs and pulled pork were very good. The sweet sauce and the vinegar sauce were a little generic, but the mustard was quite good. They also have a cute outdoor eating area that's nice, and they were very friendly, which counts at a BBQ joint, definitely worth checking out.

But they are a very small local mom and pop operation and a major part of their business is catering so they are occasionally closed because of that and their normal business hours are kind of short.My recommendation would be to follow them on FB. They are pretty good about posting when they are open.Either way it is well worth the effort to visit. They are incredibly friendly and welcoming and the food is amazing. Everytime I go I get extra to take home.
A small, quaint BBQ place located in the heart of downtown Perry, GA. Don't let the small place look fool you. This place is big on flavor. The owner is a 30+ year veteran of BBQ smoking and cooking. The chicken is fall-off-the-bone delectable, and the pulled pork is delicious even without sauce (a sure sign of excellence). The BBQ stew was one side, and it's served piping hot ?. The other side I had was mac-and-cheese, which is finished off in the smoker with a slightly burned crust that makes the mac-and-cheese one of the best I've ever had. I washed everything down with sweet tea, which was very good. This place also caters to big parties. The service from Denise was wonderful and friendly, and I would highly recommend this place if you're in the Perry, GA area.

Just had a plate of Ribs and Brunswick stew. best damn ribs i have had in this state. will be having ribs every Thursday from now on. stew was excellent also.

Best barbecue around. We’ve used barbecue monsters several times to cater events and we are never disappointed. David is easy to work with and always delivers a beautiful quality product at a reasonable price and he doesn’t just do barbecue so if you need a caterer, you should really talk with him, he has great suggestions to help make it affordable for things like cocktail hour. I definitely recommend and will be using him again.
