I absolutely love the way this place looks aesthetically. It has a very homey natural feel to it when you walk in. I will say the prices are quite expensive, which I was still willing to pay. I was recommended this place and was told to try the cheese straws, and I also bought some donuts, jalapeno dip, lemon bars, sea salt chocolate chip cookies, and a couple of the cobblers. The cheese straws were a huge disappointment with their lack of flavor, however the sea salt chocolate...
I’ve never heard of Acres and Oak but received cheese straws and pound cake in a gift basket for HoCo teacher of the year. It was delicious and reminded me of what my mom would make. It’s also cool that they support Houston County teachers. I will definitely check them out soon!
Acres & Oak offers excellent food that's quick and easy to prepare at home for my family. The heart of their business is service to their community and their customers, and it's owned and managed by great folks. Go check them out!
