I understand food at fairs will be a bit more expensive, but $20 for a turkey leg? $13 for a funnel cake? These were their prices at the Georgia National Fair. Price gouge much?

We purchased food from Cox while staying at the George National Fairgrounds for NBHA Youth Finals. I know fair type foods are expensive but if I'm going to pay $8 for a order of fries the size of a medium from McDonald's they should be fresh and hot. The large size was $12. I understand they normally support the fair but this wasn't the fair. We apparently were not the only ones as we would see baskets of fries laying around and I was too busy during it to take pictures.

Ordered a Cheese steak at the Perry Ga Radio Control swap meet. I went to eat right away, the bread was completely soaked in juice from the steak. Bread totally fell apart and was un-edible. Seeing the bill on my Amex. Statement just reminded me of my experience with Cox concessions. Please train your people to serve probably.

5 Stars to all the people who had to deal with that horrible group on Saturday. I don’t know that I could of held my composure as well as these employees did.. Kudos!!!

Shari, Ashley and the team are real gems. Cannot recommend them highly enough. They catered a celebration of life for my mother. The appetizers were delicious and beautifully displayed. The entire service team, including the bar back and bar tenders were terrific. Our guests were very pleased.Above and beyond the professional service and lovely presentation, Shari snd her husband touched and surprised us by presenting us with a beautiful rose bush in my mother’s memory.

Eat the food at your own risks I worked several booths of theirs already to find the most disgusting health violations of any food service. I’ll just share the concessions by cox secret chili recipe for starters 1 can of off brand chili left in the sun then brought in and slow cooked all day until it has turned to sludge, scrape off what has completely dried and add in a second can of chili into the same container, the secret ingredient 1 fountain drink of Dr Pepper added to thin it back out return it to the freezer to be reheated and served in the same unwashed container wouldn’t want to lose any bacteria. As a concessionaire you are told to serve flat drinks, moldy bread and bad cheese just to name a few dont worry unless they come back is what your told and if you bring this up to the higher ups Morgan Scott for instance she will immediately cuss you out and fire you on the spot before even hearing a third of it. The same thing with sausage and other meats it is cooked and reheated all day then returned to the fridge at night to start the same process over.

If I could give a zero I would. I ordered a steak burger and fries today at NHBA world championships in Perry. First, the guy looks at me like I have two heads and says nothing. Then I say again, could I get a steak burger and fries. He says -"uh, ok", takes my money ($14), and gives me old, cold fries and a cold piece of meat on a plain bun. When I open it to put ketchup on it I realize that there is no tomato, lettuce, cheese, nothing. By the time I turn to ask him about it, he has closed the window and is locking up. He could have told me he was closing and was out of everything instead of charging me full price for food that should have been thrown away. I don't ever expect much out of concession stand food but this was over the top !
