Stopped at Cracker Barrel on our 20 hour road trip from Florida to Oklahoma and we were greatly disappointed by our experience. I don't know if our waitress was new or not - but she could certainly use more training. She only had a couple of tables (we arrived at 8:30 PM) and could not keep our drinks filled. My husband ordered a fried chicken salad with extra chicken and she came out three times without it... when she did bring it out it was the smallest portion of "extra" chicken I have ever seen. My friend ordered a salad with her meal and did not get it until the very end. We asked for our tickets to be split for three and she split it for two. Not good communication and did not smile once.

We were there around 2:30, so not busy at all. Our first server had a table of 8 and took quite a while to ask for our drink order. When we said we were ready to order, she said she didn’t have her pad and would be right back. She never came back. Eventually Clay came to our rescue and delivered excellent service for the remainder of our visit.
The food was good, but lukewarm, so not great. The hash brown casserole was dry. The hash brown shepherds pie was tasty, but barely warm. The ribs were just average.

It took over an hour to get our food. Once we got our food we didn’t get it all, we had to wait almost another 10 minutes for the second half. The biscuits were dry and not hot. We never received the cornbread we asked for, nor the lemons. Cracker Barrel has definitely gone downhill.

This place needs a renovation the place is falling apart. I have pictures of the bathroom it was disgusting and the holders are falling off the wall.. Something was wrong with my husbands pancakes the texture was not right. They had such a weird taste to them also.

I don't typically write reviews but this time I feel compelled to do so. This Cracker Barrel has gone down hill with its service and food quality over the last 2-3 years. The wait times for food are over 30 minutes, terrible service, terrible food sometimes, wrong order or forgot to bring a side. The workers are always YELLING across the store to one another like crazy banshees' and you can hear the fighting and arguing in the back. Once I had to go inside to pick up my Togo order after waiting outside 10+ plus minutes. They refused to answer the phone so I had to go inside in my pj's. This past visit will be my last. This past visit my boyfriend and I came in on Saturday the 8th. The store doesn't close until 11. We walked in at 9:01. We waited over 5 minutes to be seated because the host was no where to be found. There were 5 workers standing around at the front doing absolutely nothing but talking amongst themselves. They never even acknowledged us. Another guest waiting for his Togo order actually had to walk into the kitchen to get someone to come out. The hostess came and we were seated. It took another 5 plus minutes for the server to arrive. It was an older woman named Darrell/Darnell. She brought our drinks and walked away with our order at 9:19. She was never seen again. Another young lady come by about 10 minutes after and asked did we get biscuits. Of course we didn't because the server never returned. She brought them out to us and we never saw her again either. We ordered breakfast food. Mamas pancake breakfast and the Strawberry Custard Bread. 2 things that should have come out very quickly. How long does it take to cut something from a pan and put it on a plate and make 2 pancakes??? At 9:50 we still had no food so we left. We were literally the only table there. How can it take 30 plus minutes for food when there's no hold up because there is no customers. No one said a word to us as we walked out the door. When we got to the parking lot low and be hold there was our server. In the car with another worker smoking cigars and having an alcoholic beverage. As we got in our car she told us to "have a good night" Ha! Then they both went inside. I'm assuming to see how big of a tip she thought she got. The audacity of her to say have a good night knowing she never came back to the table to even give us a drink refill. This place and the workers are complete trash!! How about just shut it down I can guarantee you the residents of Perry will not mind!!

The food was great, but the service was poor. One waitress was serving a room with 7 full tables. She was also clearing and cleaning the tables. We didn't get napkins or our side dishes until we were almost finished with the entrée. They definitely needed another waitress. We did a little shopping where I found a jacket with no price tag. None of the employees could find the price, so the jacket was taken to the manager. I was told the manager was looking for a price and to wait a moment. I waited for almost 20 min and asked an employee if they had found a price yet. She called her manager and I was told she was in a meeting. What a total waste of my time. I couldn't believe no one informed me she was in a meeting and just told me to wait there. I didn't even get an appology. Cracker Barrels have always been wonderful, but this one was shockingly disappointing.

I follow a low-carb diet I tried to get and I asked for salt pepper and butter only, not sure what it was but I wasn't real thrilled with it. Love the store, and I've had some of the best service of my life in cracker barrels

The vibe was totally off here. Our waitress didnt want to be there and took it out on us. We got our food then was told our biscuits and gravy that each one of us got would be a few. I also didnt get my toast. So I had to sit there and not eat my eggs because I have to eat them w/ toast. She then slammed the toast beside me and walked away. Not a word spoken. She then brings out a basket of bisuits with the tiniest bowl of gravy inside the basket that was supposed to be for the 4 of us...... I have never in my years of going to CB seen this before. So we had to choose who got to eat biscuits and gravy even tho it came with our meals. The whole debacle was terrible and I wasnt about to try and get our waitresses attn as she was less than friendly. 0/10 would not recommend! Bacon was also extremely undercooked. GROSSSSS
