We tried the ribs, fried shrimp, greens, baked beans, mac and cheese, and cornbread. Everything slapped! I don't know who Shawn is but no wonder they are fat with food this good. Hit them up if you are passing by, you won't be disappointed.

Absolutely the best service and food I've eaten in Perry, GA. I traveled from Savannah on Saturday, March 10, 2024 and greatly enjoyed the fish, wings, cabbage, and nice cup of cold pink lemonade... Yes Lord it was all good!

So today I decided to eat out after traveling from home (Miami, FL) to Georgia. I stopped at Fatz Shawn’s Soul Food thinking because I seen five stars that it was going to be good. The FOOD WAS AWFUL!!! The Pink Lemonade was everything….. But not the food!
We looked all over for a for real soul food place driving through GA, and found Fatz Shawn’s… This is without a doubt the most soul I have ever and will ever taste in a crispy fried pork loin.
Fatz Shawn’s Soul Kitchen is a 10/10! So fresh! The best catfish and shrimp in WR and Perry! Its located by the ice machines and portable buildings store on Courtney Hodges Blvd in Perry. It is a food truck. Very clean and nice employees. Go try it, you won't be disappointed! I also tried the ox tails...delish! They have a great variety of sides and main dishes to choose from...I will be back good Lord willing. Menu is posted on their fb page so ck it out. Thanks for my new go to place!

The food is good! But the amount of food for the price is not worth it honestly. The Togo plates are not a good quality at all. Tonight was my 2nd time eating here & i don’t think i will be returning.
I ordered a smothered chicken with greens and Mac and cheese and got food poisoning throwing up and diarrhea me and my 10 month old and I only gave her the rice but the greens were over cooked turnips (seemed to be out the can) and the Mac and cheese something was spoiled idk if she put sour cream but it was sour luckily my mom tasted the Mac and cheese and threw the rest away

I think we came at the wrong tone of day. The food tasted old. The key lime cakes were dry. The turkey wings salty, the fish had a weird taste and the Cole slaw was hot. $65 later and very disappointed.

I ate here twice while working in town last week. Food was really good and so was the service. Nice people. I had the turkey wings. Besides the gravy being a bit salty for my taste, they were excellent. Also tried the fried chicken. It was cooked just right. Crispy and juicy. Nice to have another option other than your typical fast food chains. I plan on returning to try the rest of the menu while in the area. ??
