Down from Atlanta for a high school sporting event. Found this gem. Excellent sandwiches, but a hungry teen might need two sandwiches. Great little find.

I love going in Yoder's Sandwich Shoppe for lunch. The employees are always friendly and appreciative for every customer. If you live in Perry, I'm sure you have already eaten at Yoder's Sandwich Shoppe. If you haven't, then you are missing out! Swing in and grab a bite for lunch one day. If you are from elsewhere in Houston County, it is worth the trip. I usually get the Cuban sandwich. They make it right every time. Sometimes I'll eat one of the pasta salads they offer too. It is located right outside of downtown Perry so it is easy to drive to and swing in for a quick bite.
Kid-friendliness: There are multiple sandwich options, so a child would have plenty to choose from.

We were in the middle of an unexpected 10 hour drive back home to Florida from a flight being cancelled in Charlotte and going on three hours of sleep. Even though they were closing within minutes, the people here welcomed us in and took care of us and were so kind and gracious. The sandwiches were excellent, but the warmth and care of the staff at Yoder’s is what we will always remember. Thank you!
I went to the Yoder’s Sandwich shop in Perry, GA for lunch and ordered a Chicken Salad BLT. After I paid for my order, the owner told the nice lady (who was clearly embarrassed) to lift up the bread so he could see how much chicken salad she put on my sandwich. He then told her that she put too much chicken salad on the sandwich and to take some of that off. He then said, I don’t want to charge him double. After this he said all you need to put is a thin layer on the bread. Needless to say, while eating the sandwich all I tasted was the bread, bacon, lettuce, and tomatoes. I must say, when the sandwich is fixed the right way it’s the best Chicken Salad BLT sandwich in all of Georgia.

Great little find! Lived 20 minutes away for over 25 years and never knew this was here. Little deli with homemade and farm fresh sandwiches, salad and dessert! Great food, made to order. It was ready as soon as we got our drinks and sat down.
