Beautiful place, cozy atmosphere.
The waiting was long, the food was tasty, but served cold instead of hot, pizza cold, the steak barely warm, only the pasta was hot, some of the vegetables not fresh. Found rotten/mold tomatoes in the salad, i showed it to the waitress, she brought us extra tomatoes as compensation, bad ones again, I was told by the waitress that the chef said this is a "type of tomato". 😀.
In the end the server offered us not to pay for the salad, but, is not about money, for such a nice place ,( and prices) people expect the food to be fresh .

Just arrived at the resort and had to take a break after the long drive getting there. Great place. Folks started arriving from everywhere, and the party began. Had a great time.

I normally dont like to give bad reviews... every place and staff have bad days. This is an exception. Can't say anything about the food... we didn't get seated at Cason's because the only table they had for 7 people was "reserved." That was odd because we were told they didn't make reservations. The hostess told us to go to the connecting Piedmont Dinning room. There were a lot of empty tables, but we literally had three people rolling their eyes when we asked to be seated. This was at 8:30 pm, so it's not late. I can't imagine 7 people would be a huge party. We did get seated straight away as the restaurant was less than half full. The strange attitude from the staff started at the hostess but carried through to the waitress. The first item with her was 5 menus for 7 people, but she did bring us 7 waters. Right in the middle of talking to us, the waitress just walked off and started cleaning tables while we were talking to her. She was even talking under her breath and just stared back at us as she wiped down tables. We got a real vibe that none of them wanted us there. Maybe it's for locals only... i dont know. She may also have been trying to force us to get the buffet. We just felt like we were unwelcomed and, after several uncomfortable minutes, had to get up and leave. This is the first time for all 7 of us getting up and leaving. What a strange experience. The food was ridiculously expensive also. Most of the entree food was over $40. The only entree less than that was a simple pesto pasta dish for $26 plus $5 for a protein. It may have been worth the prices, but I highly doupt it for basically the same food on the buffet. I will never go back.

Service and atmosphere were great. I was here for a work conference and ate dinner one night and had a few drinks and dessert the next. The Old Fashioned here is top notch. The charcuterie board makes a great meal and the bourbon pecan pie dessert is highly recommend.

Lisa was our waitress, and she was great. She was friendly, very attentive, made great suggestions for both of us. She was good enough that our ticket was only $40ish, and I pulled a $20 out and handed it to her for her tip. I truly appreciated her hospitality. I had the grilled pimento cheese sandwich with fried green tomatoes and fries, highly recommend this. It was delicious!

This is for anyone who comes here like we did looking for food in the area kitchen closes at 10pm however we showed up 10 min before. The host was very sweet and let the kitchen know. They let us order, and the food was so good. Thank you so much for serving us right before everyone was very sweet.

Great little bar inside of the lodge at Callaway Gardens. Food is good and reasonably priced. Good bourbon selection. There are not a lot of draft beers for the tap room

We sat down and waited and waited. Finally someone acknowledged us so we waited and waited some more. There were 4 tables outside w us and 1 or 2 inside. We finally decided to leave as we still hadn't even received menus and we could see the workers inside talking.

We arrived before dinner crowd; the weather allowed us to eat on the patio. Brian our server was over to take our orders. The soup of the day was a tomato/potato soup- weird combo but it worked. They were out of crackers, but Brian proactively toasted bread and brought that out for the soup - great service! Recommend the Callaway burger - nice balance of toppings that are sweet but balanced by the slightly salt chargrill taste from the beef patty. All in all a great meal and service!
