We had the Rueben, the club and the pot roast sandwiches. Also, had the homemade lemonade. All delicious. Then took a brown sugar latte to go. Would recommend.

What a cute little hidden find! I dropped by on a recommendation from an employee at Callaway Gardens & so glad I did! We ordered takeout from this spot but I can easily see coming back again. We got BLTs & chocolate cake to go & a chicken pot pie to bake later. There's a smash burger on the menu which piqued my interest for another trip.
Along with a nice variety of salads & sandwiches, there are some takeaway meals available you can heat up for later which is a great option for those who are staying nearby who don't want to cook or go out to eat later.
I won't be mad at you if you skip over dessert simply because I'll just be sure to eat your portion lol. Yes, it is that good! The chocolate cake was so moist and yummy, not too much frosting & big enough piece to split if you're feeling nice.
My only regret is stopping by here on the last day of our visit 😢

My husband and I stayed in the Pine Mountain area last weekend to celebrate our anniversary. We ate lunch at Dakota’s Counter and were very impressed! From the friendly service to the delicious soup and sandwiches, we couldn’t have had a better experience. It was the best meal we had all weekend! ❤️

Cute mom and pop sandwich shop! Limited menu but… Everything was delicious. I tried the cheddar grilled cheese with pot roast and hubby had the pastrami sandwich. The staff members were kind and service was good.

Best Burger in Pine Mountain! They also make a great Reuben that has both corned beef and pastrami. Don't miss this place for a great meal.

We were headed to FL From ATL and finally had the opportunity to visit Dakota’s Counter. My wife and I had wanted to try Dakota’s Counter since it opened. I’ve known the owners for 20 years and his passion for cooking and pleasing has never waned. He even remodeled his previous home with the kitchen as a focal point. The smash burgers we had were juicy, but not in a run down to your elbows kind of way. Flavor was on point and not masked by over-salted seasonings. As a bonus, they offer a fantastic selection of takeout heat’n serve meals which come in handy for ball season or gatherings at Calloway. The ambience is quaint and ideal for a quick snack or meal while eavesdropping on some of the local’s gossip. Great staff from front to back. Can’t wait to visit again.

Best hazlenut latte I've ever had. Home made sweet treats were incredible and Julie and Dean were kind, funny and informative!
