The ice cream is honestly disgusting. The texture is off like it's very old or has been melted and refrozen. Black Walnut has always been my favorite flavor but my husband and I couldn't stomach finishing the ice cream. They also wouldn't let me get a kiddie size because I'm an adult but I had bariatric surgery and that was very off putting. I was so excited to write a review for this place it's very cute inside but I have to be truthful. Horrible ice cream.
Absolutely a great shop. The best milk shake in the southeast!! Very nice ppl, mom & pop shop, definitely worth the visit. Open invitation if want to share you guitar skills 😊
Immediately upon entering the Store, I was asked if I was ready to order? I asked her to give me a moment since I just walked in. I was told by the lady sitting off to the side I can’t wait long. I was literally the last one in line and had only been in the store barely 30 seconds. There was no one behind me. I’m not paying for that type of service so I left. Not sure if the ice cream is good, but the service is terrible
Most friendly ice cream shop ever! Highly recommend them!
Delicious homemade cobbler! Sweetest staff ever. Go give them your business and get ice cream!
Very expensive. Paid for two ice cream creams with 1 scoop each and waffle cones and it was $20. They won’t make it this economy
Ordered 1 hot chocolate. I watched as they made a cup of Swiss Miss right in front of me for $5. Not only that, it's watered down and doesn't even taste good. Would not recommend.

Went to get some ice cream after having dinner, stopped by here and found odd being asked what I wanted and if that was it. Was trying to figure out which flavor I wanted when the lady was already charging me without me getting my ice cream.
Then for a waffle cone and 2 scoops $12?!?!?! Very overpriced for ice cream not even made in store. Def not going back
It will not let me give less than a one star review. If it could, I would. Over priced garbage with lazy management.

Peach cobbler is very good, but it is overpriced for the amount you are given.

Boss was not leading her employees at all, she sat to the side, pointing and telling other people what to do while she was eating fried chicken ? also was just hanging out with her friends up there. Ice cream was decent, employees were nice, boss was unprofessional.

Took my family for Ice-cream here after eating at a local restaurant. The whole place seemed a bit shady but the service was very friendly and fast. The icecream we had here was very gritty almost like powder. My wife got a waffle cone with 2 scoops. One strawberry and the other coconut it cost $10.70 and she was quite disappointed. I got a waffle bowl with a brownie Sunday it was okay. But the ice-cream seemed gritty on it also, and it was also $10.70. Overall I doubt we will go back to this overpriced hole in the wall. This place thrives on tourism business from Callaway, and would be easy to gain a competitive advantage against with the icecream as bad as it was.
