6 person supper reserved for 6PM. Could not find where the restaurant was in the building as it was marked poorly. Waiter brought the wrong wine bottle after choosing which one we would like. Did not get our salads first, but brought out with the entrees. Entrees took 1 hr and 20 minutes to be brought to the table. One guest also was brought the wrong entree, but after waiting so long, just decided to eat it. Had mentioned that the event was a BD when reserving , but no mention of it by the waiter and no free dessert. Food was good, but wait was terrible, especially with a 1.5 year old.
Everyone is trying their best. Even after getting our reservation to the host when notified, it still took an additional 20 minutes to seat and 45 minutes for 4 Buffalo sliders. I suspect that might be a management issue. Thanks for trying!
I do not drink alcohol - they served an alcohol free beer which was great!! Food was excellent.
We were attending the Labor Day dinner at the ski pavilion. The food was ok, certainly not great. There was 1 bartender to serve EVERYONE and people stood in line for 30+ minutes to get a drink. I paid $27 for 2 glasses of wine and each glass may have had a 6-ounce pour. We won't do this again and will tell others who asked about it not to spend their money.
The dinner was not at the Piedmont dining room, it was on the beach in the open ski pavilion
Our dinner at Callaway's Ski Pavilion for the ‘Balloon Glow' dinner and hot air balloon musical display was outstanding. Such a unique experience to see 17 tethered hot air balloons firing their burners in a syncopated choreography set to music. It was delightful. In fact, the entire experience was delightful. The staff were cordial and attentive, the food was delicious and plentiful, and the setting was amazing - once we found the venue. The only drawback was the lack of signage for the event and the lack of general knowledge by the Park's staff about this event. Most had no idea it was on the calendar OR where the ski pavilion was located. We had the dickens of a time finding the event venue. Many others we talked with that evening had the same experience. Even finding our way out of the Park afterwards proved to be an adventure since Callaway closes their roads and entrances at dusk.
The food was good, nothing exceptional but good overall. The atmosphere and surroundings were very pleasant, and it was easy to make a reservation even at the last minute. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive, which made the experience more enjoyable. Overall, a nice spot for the setting and service.
A very nice setting with a wonderful waitress (Beth) but very mediocre food. Described as a resort area, I would have expected the main restaurant to have great food. The (three) barbacoa tacos while a good size were more of a BarBQue beef than a chile pepper-based offering topped with way to much Mexican? sour cream that seemed more at home on a gyro and then no lettuce or tomato or slaw or pickled onion or ANY kind of additional topper. Farmer's salad was fresh and filling but nothing special. I expected more from the quality of the food and thanks to Beth the service was great.

The food was good. It took a bit of time to get our appetizer though. The food was well presented too.

Service is not up to standard you would expect in a resort setting. Staff unable to accommodate basic requests. Entire dining room empty aside from the open booths against the wall. Host tries to sit us literally right beside another group of adults in the same booth. I guide her over to the next table to sit down and she refuses because “they seat in sections”. I tell her I’m not sitting beside another group in the same booth and she is adamant about “seating in sections”. Then when I asked her to get the manager to come explain to me why they had to seat in sections and put me at the same table with another group in an empty dining room. She got an attitude. Manager came out and was reasonably friendly, offered to serve us herself but at this point I’m annoyed that the staff of a resort acted like it disrupted their entire operation to move me 5 feet over to other table. Egregiously incompetent of the staff to handle a situation this poorly and for a host to escalate. This poor experience will reflect on Callaway as a whole for me.

We came here looking for a nice dinner. We have never been, but we're seated in a nice booth, greeted by a very pleasant waitress. We had seen the menu online and my husband was ready for a steak. Nope!
We were told it was buffet only tonight, $55/person for hot dogs and hamburgers. When I asked about the prime rib or steak we were explained that the restaurant was not serving the regular menu, only the hot dogs and hamburgers. I would be pretty upset if I paid $110+ tax for hot dogs and hamburgers. We left.
The waitress was wonderful, but the restaurant should be ashamed of themselves for those inflated prices for street fare.

We weren't aware that the only option that evening was a buffet until we checked in for our reservation. There was a very limited amount of food out and the food that was there did not taste good (chicken practically no meat on the drumsticks due to being overcooked). For $55/person we were extremely disappointed.
We looked forward dining here. What a disappointment! Our server was rushed, did not engage and placed an order wrong. It took a long time for replacement and there was no apology given. We cancelled the reservation we'd made for two nights later and dined locally instead. This could be lovely, but it wasn't!
