In town for Gardens Lights. Came here due to closest place open on Sunday in downtown. Food was good. Service was lacking but caught up. Seemed to be a popular spot. A little run down as you could tell an old waffle spot, but food made up for it.

Went there today with a friend for lunch. Was extremely disappointed. The atmosphere and prices ambiance did not match the prices. It was more like a hole in the wall and everything was expensive. I had fish and chips with fries and coleslaw.....$25. It was supposed to be tempura battered cod. I was expecting light and flaky but it dark and heavy and tasted like it was fried in old grease. The hush puppies were not done in the middle and tasteless. $45 for fish and chips, hush puppies and a mimosa. Never again!

Kitchen equipment is very well taken care of and is clean. John’s Heating, Cooling and Appliance Repair keeps the gas ranges and refrigeration coolers and freezers running perfectly.

Their ad plainly states they are open until 9 p.m. We arrive and though the lights are on, and doors unlocked, as well as patrons on the porch I was advised they are closed because they were “slow” earlier. Makes alot of sense! Let’s remain open while slow, but when things pick up let’s run customers off. Would be a great place to put a restaurant

Truly disappointing experience. I had heard many good things about the oyster House however none of them rang true during my visit. Majority of the items on the menu are ridiculously overpriced. There are no simple items on the menu that would constitute a casual lunch for someone just passing by. We decided not to order meals instead Just ordered the hot crab dip. At $17 I was completely disappointed. The crab in the dip appeared to be canned and not fresh. Shrimp replaced in the dip also however I would be willing to bet they were not fresh either. Best part of the whole thing was the bread that was served with it, however I believe it would be better served with something crispier like pita chips. Staff was not rude but also had no personal touch, And the ambience of the place is like entering Mel's diner on seafood night. The atmosphere definitely does not support the pricing. On a positive note service was fairly quick and there was plenty of parking.

The food is fantastic and Kendall is the BEST at the bar! The cooks (sea chefs?) are second to none! We drive from Atlanta at least twice a month ?
