Pulled Pork and Ribs were delicious. We tried six sides and they were all fantastic as well. This is a great place to go for BBQ in a simple country setting. Styrofoam plates, plastic utensils. Portion sizes are very large for the plates...enough to have a 2nd meal of left overs the next day.

Best barbecue in Harris County. Service staff is courteous and prompt. Great place to get what you need for a picnic at Callaway Gardens.
Friendly staff, quick food but the Pork is tasteless. Pork looks like it's been boiled not smoked. Chicken was like a cracked pepper chicken - not bad but not typical BBQ. Baked Beans taste more Chili. Even the toast was soggy and completely lacking garlic.
Edit: Everyone of us who ate here had diarrhea. Fantastic.

I stopped in to get something to eat based on the great reviews. Now I am adding my own review.
The staff was super friendly and helpful. I ordered a rib sandwich and an IPA. I was more than pleased with the size of the rib portion that I had to put on the bread to make my own sandwich. The meat was very tender and falling off the bone. I liked the IPA selection as well. I chose Brunswick, stew and coleslaw for my sides. They were both delicious.
If I ever make it back I would eat here again in a heartbeat.

Very good Chopped Pork, Baby Back Ribs and Smoked Turkey. Sides are Delicious ( you've got to try the BBQ Beans if you like spicy ) Service is always good and fast. We drive about 50 miles once a month just to get some good food.
*You may want to call ahead if you are craving Ribs. They sale out pretty fast on the weekends.

Neat stop after checking out the FDR site. Partially gravelled parking lot so just a heads up for those on two wheels. Menu looked yummy and prices were reasonable. Cheeseburger was delish and two side were also good. Just enough to satisfy my hunger. Will definitely come back!

This place was amazing. Even though we only ordered take out the service was fast and professional. The food was amazing. I was making yummy noises the entire time I was eating the barbecue beans. I got confused looks from my husband lol I’ve honestly never eaten barbecue beans that taste quite like those. The Chipped pork itself was great. I suggest asking for extra barbecue sauce because they give you A LOT of pork. I think one extra container was the perfect amount. Highly suggest this place maybe if you’re otw to Callaway and want to skip the high priced event food (which is what we did). I think we got a ton of food for the price. The containers were barely closing. Great value!
