Another Broken Egg Cafe

Frequent visitor to this chain but the Savannah location is not consistent at all. I have been a few times in the last six months and the food and service are inconsistent.
I took out of town visitors there this morning and when the food came out it appeared to be under the heat lamp for a bit and dried out. My omelette was missing the goat cheese so after waiting 3-4 minutes for my server I asked another server for help. She went to locate my server. Another 3-4 minutes passed and my server reappeared from the kitchen with water and tea for another table. When finally making her way over she gave me the option of a side of cold cheese or to have it remade. The rest of the table was almost done eating so I told her I would just eat what I had but that I wanted the price adjusted for the mistake.
Not one apology for the error and absolutely no sense of urgency.
I am beyond disappointed in this place and today was my last attempt at keeping an open mind.
I recommend you skip and go across the street to metro diner. They consistently have good food and even better service.

Some different menu items and your traditional items too. We came in the morning and they were short staffed. The waitress gave us a complementary appetizer which was nice. My husband had the stuffed pancakes. He said it wasn't like pancakes, more like French Toast. I got an egg white omelette with feta cheese, it was very good.

Feel extreme discomfort and unwell after eating here. my server was great and so was my service but I’m not sure if me and my sisters shrimps were cooked all the way or not because we have never experienced this level of discomfort after eating.

Today was a very disappointing experience at Another Broken Egg Cafe in Pooler, Georgia. I’ve been to this establishment in the past and have never experienced what I did today. My family and I arrived somewhere around 11:50am and we didn’t get seated until sometime around 1:30pm. That is absolutely ridiculous. It should not take that long to sit three people. I don’t mean to make any assumptions, but I truly believe that we were skipped even though the girl with the locs at the front asked for a phone number and name when we had initially arrived. We didn’t even sit down because we got a text. My father entered the establishment after it had been over an hour (this was the second time he went in after my mother who already did, mind you) and after speaking with a different girl, we were finally seated. At this point we were somewhat-aggravated, especially my mother. Then on top of that, it took around fifteen minutes just for a waitress to come and get our drink/food orders. The only reason my review is two stars instead of one is because the owner came up to our table and showed concern for what we had been through, and gave my parents cards for a free meal. While I’m grateful to have spent quality time with my parents as an out-of-state college student, this place really needs to do better. If you’re going to have a system where patrons get a text while waiting for seating, there has to be some form of notification such as where you are in line or an estimated time in order to avoid situations like this. Sadly, I don’t think I will be returning.

Got a takeout order for the BLTA sandwich. Nothing like what thaw pic is online to order very disappointed in what I received for $15 sandwich

Will NEVER return!! We waited 45 min (after joining the waitlist online) we were seated, then told by the hostess that she seated the wrong party and we had to go back to wait for another table. This is the ABSOLUTE worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.

Our Waitress Demi was great! She served us well and took amazing care of us. 9/10 on the food. Overall experience 10/10 will come again

Finally got there early enough to not wait in line. The food was really good, prices were decent. Would recommend.

I tried one of the new combo dishes the gumbo and chicken and waffle. The chicken tenders were great hot kinda small but just enough. The waffle was cold and a little crunchy hard. Not hot enough to melt butter think it sat too long. Our server was also managing the bar so she forgot about us. She apologized and gave us a discount which was nice of her. This is still one of my favorite spots so we'll see how the next visit goes!

Aliyah was very sweet and tentative to our group when we dined in. I love her personality. She made our vist very pleasant.

Today was my birthday and I received an email on a free entree. I decided to call this site, despite the management saying they never got a call. I asked if they would honor a breakfast instead of a lunch. & was told yes. Well our error was not reading the small print. I can understand that but the server came over to order & I showed
her the email, she should have stated we only offer Pancakes as the birthday meal. This was All the server nelect to inform us, then a scene could have been avoided.
The Food was tasty but poorly made. The picture below was Eggs Benedict. Look at how they served my husband meal. It's not canadian bacon or not even ham cut to fit each half. Mine & his both eggs are over cooked. Everyone that has eaten it before know they should the yoke should run out. EXTREMELY OVER RATED!!

We were so disappointed. The food was average if, that. No flavor, bad quality of food, just wasn’t good. The pancakes tasted like they took them out of the freezer and put them in the microwave, this biscuits tasted like they were made from a biscuit mix, no flavor. The sausage had flavor, and was rubbery, no spice, And it wasn’t hot, it was lukewarm. If you are used to good home cooking and really good food, you’ll not be happy with eating here.
