Terrible food. From oysters to chowder, sides to apps, all was bad except the fries. Way too expensive for the clam size oysters we got that you couldn't open and the ones you could didn't have anything but the grissle part that hold the oysters to the shell. Drinks took forever to get to table and bill showed up before the second ordered drinks. Staff knew nothing about the menu.

I've been by this restaurant 3 times in the last month, noticed the "NOW OPEN" sign, yet the place is closed. I tried calling today at 1:30 pm, no answer. Apparently they could care less to establish new customers. Tired of driving 11 miles to be disappointed.....

Appear to be closed. Didn't they just open? Entering the below because Yelp wants me to review them. No food No drinks No service No ambiance.

We went after their soft opening. It strangely looked exactly like the previous Molly McPherson's. I even think the sticky bar was leftover from Molly's . Nothing about the decor suggested " Oyster bar". It was actually bleak especially for a grand opening. They only had one brand of wine which was barely a step up from Boonesfarm. The markup had to be at least triple and the wine wasn't even drinkable. Service was SLOW at the bar. Not because they were busy, they just seemed like they didn't care that we were there. I had the salad with salmon. I asked if it could be blackened and they said that they don't have any blackening capabilities. What seafood restaurant does not offered blackened seafood? The portion was smaller than most restaurants. The salmon fillet was typical frozen fish from Sysco however, the flavor was pretty good. My husband had the oysters which were small but that happens. The crackers were stale. How do you have stale crackers on the day that you open? The restaurant weirdly felt like a Restaurant limping to its last day in business not at all a restaurant during a grand opening. Somehow, our disappointing visit was more than we spend even on fine dining. The price will keep us from bothering to see if they get it together.

Can't really give a review because they didn't serve food on Friday. Who doesn't serve food on a Friday? Only one star because can't rate nothing.

Decided to try out this new restaurant in Pooler. I realize that they just opened, however, they are not an unknown restaurant. They moved from their River St. location so they know how to run a restaurant. We arrived just before 7:00 pm. And they were semi busy. Took about 10 minutes to get to use so we already had our drink, appetizers and Main courses ready. We ordered everything at once. Our drinks came about 15 minutes later. For food we ordered the Elote Dip, Chowder, kids Hotdog meal, Oyster Casino, Fried Seafood Platter and Loaded Hotdogs meal. After about 45 minutes we asked if we could at least get the apps. We ordered a bowl of Chowder and received a cup. They returned to the kitchen to get the bowl and never came back. Another waitress stopped by and asked how everything was. We told her we ordered well over an hour ago and she said she would check for us. Again after 10 minutes and no one coming out we decided to leave. As we were leaving came out with the Bowl of Chowder and Elote Dip. I explained we were leaving and said I would pay for the drinks. My wife left with our child and again I waited. I watched while our waitress went to other tables. After almost another 10 minutes waiting for my drinks check just left.I understand they just opened. I hope they figure it out.

Not trying to be rude.. just realistic. The food is BLAND. Desperately needs seasoning. We went at 7pm.. it wasn't busy at all, but it is SLOW. We waited 10-15 mins for drinks. We waited 45mins+ for an appetizer. We had the Captain's platter, it came out hot and the cocktail sauce was good. That's the only reason this review is not a 1 star. We had beer and a mixed drink. The drink came out wrong and was bad as well. The beer was slightly colder than room temp.Price is way too expensive for what you get. 2/5.

I was beyond disappointed in this place! Got raw oysters… which hey oysters did taste good and fresh… but it took over an hour to get the raw oysters… bartender was nice but could tell she was overwhelmed and frustrated.. which I can not blame her! People sitting next to us ordered way after us… got their steamed, Rockefeller, and other cooked item way before we got the RAW oysters…They already delayed the opening once… I don’t understand why they thought it was smart to open with out having staff…Between the price, the wait, and the experience… I will not go back!!!

Awful, an hour for RAW, repeat RAW OYSTERS! $40 for 2 clusters of Crab, when I can get a full low country boil for 2 plate at Bahama Bob's for that price and why are you operating this location with only 1 available chef in the back when people have been anticipating you opening? I won't be back unless forced.

If I could give it a zero star review, I would! Was anticipating a seafood place to open in Pooler, but instead got a horrible experience! They were open on a Saturday and were severely short staffed in the kitchen (only 1 person cooking)! It took an hour to get oysters, an hour in a half to get my husband sandwich and my crab cake (should of been a platter) 20 minutes after part of the meal was delivered. Very disappointed indeed. Don't open your kitchen if you are not staffed appropriately! I would of rather have them tell me that then just waiting as long as we did. Drinks are expensive too. I hope they get their stuff together, but I will not be going back. Just sucks all around.

Staff was very rude to a customer today. Yelled at two girls and claimed she was related to the owners of the restaurant. Very unprofessional. Will not recommend or be back after that display.

I loved Bernie's when it was on Riverstreet. We tried today to recreated a great memory and was met with disbelief and embarrassment. Our waitress was nice to my face..(her words) and talked about me behind my back in kitchen that was not sound proof and laughed and made fun of the fact the food was not good according to me. She then came out and yelled at me in front of the restaurant. Then told me not to come back that her family owned the restaurant. I asked for the managers name and number and no one knew it. I did finally get a manager and things were made okay after said waitress said she was calling the cops on me. Bartender and kitchen manager were great and tried to help difuse the situation with waitress after she started yelling at me again in front of customers. I will say I was comped but had they had a manager on site this would never have happened. Customers at the bar heard everything and told them how rude she was to me. Will NEVER go back or reccommend this place and as a local that is disappointing.
