This place is horrible the food is awful and over priced! I went with my husband and my mother in law and my two children under 2 and they added gratuity to the bill saying 5 or more people automatically gets gratuity. Horrible service horrible food I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone! Worst two hundred I’ve ever spent smh

Came across Bewon Korean Restaurant on our way back from shopping. Looked up the reviews and decided to stop in for a to go. Wow, we were so impressed how good all our dishes were. So good that my husband said we need to go back for a proper sit down meal. We just ordered a quick lunch special and an order of Korean Fried Chicken. The fried chicken was 10 out of 10. Crispy and well seasoned. I wish we lived closer but willing to drive from South Carolina for this place. The staff who helped us was very kind as well.

My three year old and I have been coming here since before I was even pregnant! This is our absolute favorite Korean restaurant. The food is incredibly authentic and it's often packed with Koreans 🇰🇷✨️💜

Their Galbijim ( braised beef short rib) is truly delicious. Kim Bop is worth trying. Their Bon Chan is 👏🏽👏🏽

I typically avoid leaving negative reviews, especially for establishments I’ve genuinely enjoyed in the past. I used to drive over an hour occasionally just to dine here because the food and staff were always worth it. Unfortunately, my recent visit was extremely disappointing and has completely changed my opinion.

During our visit, we were greeted by a new waitress I hadn’t seen before. Upon entering with my family, we received no greeting or offer to choose between grill or kitchen-prepared meals. Instead, she directed us to sit at a grill table without asking our preference, even though we did not want to grill our own food.

To make matters worse, she only provided two spoons and a single pair of chopsticks for a party of five. When I politely asked for more utensils, it took nearly 20 minutes to receive them—despite watching her stand nearby, chatting with another employee.

When it came time to order, we clearly requested lunch items from the kitchen, not the Korean BBQ option. Still, they brought out raw meat for grilling. We explained the mistake to another new server, who responded with attitude, saying, “Why did you sit at a grill table if you weren’t going to grill?” This was frustrating, as we were told to sit there and had never requested that seating.

They took the raw food back, and after another 30-minute wait, we finally received our meals—though the quality was noticeably worse than on previous visits. Throughout the entire visit, which lasted over an hour, the server never returned to check on us—not once. No refills, no follow-ups, nothing.

We spent over $150, and the service we received was worse than what I’ve experienced at fast food restaurants. For the first time ever, I left without tipping—not out of spite, but because the experience simply didn’t warrant it. I won’t be returning, unfortunately. The change in staff has led to a serious drop in service and quality, and it’s no longer worth the time or money.

The staff were pleasant and worked together to make sure all the tables were taken care of. The restaurant was very clean and well maintained. Our food was delicious and our portion sizes were very large. The beef bulgogi, spicy chicken, beef fried rice, dumplings, egg souffle, sweet and sour chicken, jumbo shrimp and sautéed veggies.

This is the best Korean restaurant in Savannah. All the foods are carefully cooked and fresh, the taste is the best and the female owner knows how to do her business in a view of a customer, that's the key for success, I think

I used to love this place UNTIL i order 4 separate meals which total $95 just to only get 1 side per two meals so i called and the lady told me oh you have to request for sides to go with the other meals like WHAT each meal should come with there OWN sides and for them to not even tell you that while your ordering multiple meals (Separately) is ridiculous!!!! Overpriced just to get Less than what you pay for 🤬🤬

SO GOOD. We got the Gimbab starter, pork belly (pic), pork bibimbap(pic), black bean paste noodles(pic), and beef bulgogi. Everything came with sides (pic, sorry they were already half eaten) and the kimchi is made in house! The staff was so kind and seriously the food was out of this world. We will definitely be back!

Update: still incredibly delicious. Since this review we have been here probably 10 times and I have never had a bad meal/experience. Staff is always great!
