Stopped in on a road trip. The staff was super nice and the food was delicious. Maya and the chef were great... They have brunch, mimosa pitchers, pool tables and 25oz beers 🍻

I've been there quite a few times Some of the bartenders are not very friendly. They will overlook you. They used to take cash out they won't take it. No more, because people will lock their cards and walk. It leaves the bar with the tab.Open that puts a damper on a lot of people because that's what a lot of people use but just downright, like snooty, over half the staff that work behind the bar, the females are very snooty, little girls

I’ve enjoyed Bootleggers in the past and have visited multiple times with friends. On August 29, my boyfriend and I (both in our 40s) came in for food and drinks and we seated ourselves at the bar for nearly two hours.
Out of nowhere, a security guard asked my boyfriend to remove his glasses and questioned whether mine were sunglasses. I asked if he could see my eyes he said yes and walked away. We were told it was “policy,” but nothing had been mentioned when we entered, or on previous visits. If this is a new rule, it should be made clear at the door not selectively enforced hours later.
We felt judged, not just monitored. In an establishment where most patrons are minorities, this kind of random enforcement feels personal. We were calm, respectful, and spending money just like any other guests.
For context, I’ve attached a photo of the glasses we were wearing. Neither pair should be considered disruptive or inappropriate. Management should take a serious look at how policies are rolled out and enforced to avoid alienating loyal customers.
