I haven't seen Captain D's much since moving to California over 35 years ago, so I was pleased, if not amazed, that they were still around. I remembered them being (for me) a fish, fries, and a soda kind of place. I was pleasantly surprised to see a considerably more diverse menu that included salmon, lobster bites, and chicken options. Thank you guys for hanging in there so I could enjoy a little bit of nostalgia from my youth. I told the crew of my delight in finding the franchise still thriving. Thanks guys! 🤗👌🏾

Came here from Rincon to pick up some food for lunch for my dealership. Destiny was a pleasure to work with. She made sure everything I asked for was in the bag and made my experience very pleasant.
18 Apr ‘25 3pm ish. Online order. Fish was undercooked and mushy. The “crab cake” should be renamed “fried cake” as it had zero crab in it. The sides were all good. We received all the condiments requested. Young girl at window was friendly and polite. The health department score posted in the window was 89, had I seen the score before ordering I would have gone somewhere else.

First time at a Captian D's. I was excited as I've always loved Long Johns. Ordered the biggest plattery they had. This thing had everything and everything was great. The only thing I didnt really care for is that stuffed crab shell you see there. It was more like a hush puppy stuffed into a crab shell. Didnt taste seafoody or crab as you would expect from the way this looks. The sides were amazing, especially the corn, very sweet and tasty. The fish was great the scallops, shrimp, everything very satisfying. I will be back again.
