This little place is a gem! The food was excellent and the staff was great. My first time going and it won't be my last. You won't be disappointed!

Every time I’m in the Savannah/Tybee Island area, I stop here to eat. The food is amazing!

My first experience with these guys was with their food truck, I got the Cuban sandwich with a beef empanada, and I couldn’t wait to have their food again. I went with a buddy to their physical location and it was not at all what I was expecting. First off the language barrier is very very rough, even placing a simple order takes twice as long as it should then there’s the price of the food, the sandwich was $17 and that only included one side I got one additional side and a fruit punch to drink, and somehow my bill doubled. The inside was very hot and stuffy, it was actually cooler outside than it was inside. There were flies all over us when we sat down outside and we had to go sit down in front of a fan, which unfortunately didn’t really help. The quality of the food is not quite what I remember and for the price of the food I was very disappointed, unfortunately I won’t be coming back

The food was very rich and well cooked and delicious but very expensive, one tripe only 17 dollars, two dishes 58 dollars, I think it was too expensive, I never thought that those dishes would cost that much money.

I’ve never experienced a restaurant where you genuinely feel like you’ve known the owner for years. Chazito is charismatic, down to earth and his life story is inspiring. He’s either cooking in the back, wiping down tables or serving the food himself. If you want to spend your money at an establishment that deserves it, it’s this place. The food is always incredible and the atmosphere is friendly and comforting. I’ll never stop recommending Chazito’s to everyone.

First time having mofongo and did not disappoint. The mofongo burger is a MONSTER of a burger (I split it with my husband and we were still full) so it's very much worth it for the price. Probably the crispiest tostones I've ever had in all of the U.S. as well
