Dickey's Reviews
A month or so ago I loved the brisket meals with fried okra. The last couple of times I bought meals the okra was 1/2 the usual serving and large pieces of okra that was tough and stringy. Last week I ordered 2 brisket sandwiches and 2 fries. I got two 1/2 servings of fries with the sandwiches. The barbecue sauce was watered down also. Cost was $28 dollars.
I really like their meals but like to get what I’m paying for at those prices!!!
I happened to be passing through town and the joint is right off i 95,
The food id great and don’t forget the sauce!
The scallion poppers are pretty good too.
Staff is very chill and helpful.

Dickey's Barbecue Pit is a chain restaurant known for serving high-quality BBQ at a reasonable price. The brisket, sausage, and pork are popular menu items, with the brisket and sausage receiving particularly high praise. The ribs have been noted as falling off the bone, though some have found them to be a bit dry. The sausage offers a good balance of spice. While the restaurant can be congested and smoky, the strong smell of smoke is not a concern for those who don’t mind. The service is generally average to good, with some staff members being described as extremely friendly and helpful. The sides, including the beans, are solid and enjoyed by many. A large Baker loaded with toppings has also been mentioned as a favorite. Overall, Dickey's is a decent chain BBQ restaurant that is worth a visit, especially for those looking for tasty food and a familiar experience.
