The food was OK, but the service was kind of terrible. Every time we ask them for something it feels like we’re getting a weird look From them. And when they’re not serving customers or playing around in the back, not doing their jobs like making tea.

Worst BBQ I've ever had. Ordered pull porked sandwich and fries. Fries was soaked in grease and the sandwich had me throwing up in the bathroom no taste what so ever!!! Stay away from this location

Food wasn't great the brisket tasted like oil. I definitely don't recommend the brisket at all. Had less than 1% meat. Fries were burnt. The only thing that tasted good was my coke. $17 overpriced for what I got.

Ordered two of the salads with grilled chicken to-go. I've ordered these many times in years past but this time, the salad didn't come with anything except salad, cheese, and meat. This location has been going down hill but when I get an order that hardly any effort was put into, salad was wilted, and missing ingredients, then I've had enough.

Pork was not bad at all. Sides were fair, just standard. Mostly geared for take out. Order and pick up at counter. Very limited seating.

I've had Dickey's BBQ is the past and it was good, better than Jim n Nicks to me. The BBQ sauce itself is delicious. BUT this is the first time I went to the actual location and sat down and ate. There were 3 employees there. No greeting upon entry. They were not busy, only one other couple there. The 2 men there were very young, maybe teenagers. The meat they pulled from out from under the counter tasted good but was cold, none of our food was hot except the potato. The temperature of the meat was as if they pulled it from the fridge. Flavor was still good tho. The Mac n cheese I have to agree with another review does taste like KFC Mac n cheese, it doesn't taste home made, so that was disappointing. The main issue was the female cashier. I don't know if she was having a bad day but she was very rude to me. She was mumbling under her breath so I asked her what did she say cause I couldn't hear her, she rolled her eyes and repeated herself. I thought to myself, am I missing something, did I say something wrong? So we sat down to eat and my sister was sitting across from me and was watching the girl interact with other customers and she said, it's not you, she's being rude to everyone. She said a man approached her and said something to her and the girl proceeded to shoot him a bird when he walked away and she ran to the bathroom. None of these employees looked over the age of 18. There was no adult present in the store that we could see and we were there for an hour. The customer service of this younger generation is so disappointing. The world of good customer service seems to not exist anymore in savannah.

Worst experience ever. Ordered the smoke chicken with cheese and fries(the meal) the two gentleman working there are both unprofessional. I get my order and the sandwich is has no cheese and the fries are hard, I tell him he says they are hand cut fries so they gonna be hard and so I might as well pick another side. So I asked what about my cheese he gives me two slices of cheese in a sides container and says I apologize. Nope I want your manager
I made an online door dash order. Everything seemed to be fine, until I get a text from a different door dash driver telling me that he went in to get my order and was told it has already been picked up BUT THAT THE ORDER AND DRIVER WERE NOT VERIFIED. Door dash attempted to call the store to have the order remade and they would get a driver to bring it to me, but no one answered the phone. I called the store and got the same. I then called the ACTUAL 912 # and not some corporate generic number and it rang about 20 times and then disconnected. So, now I sit here with no lunch, out $ and still cannot get anyone to answer the phone! AWFUL EXPERIENCE!

Since there are no reviews on their FB page newer than 2022, I can only deduce that they are either being deleted or suppressed.
Today, May 18, 2025, we witnessed the store being closed before lunch even began. The reason? Staffing.
The woman, who I'm assuming was the shift supervisor, could be heard in the back speaking with either the manager or owner on the phone about needing help. Considering the store closed before we could get food tells me that there's an ongoing staffing issue. Yes, you read that right. No manager on site and only two employees on shift.
Maybe next time?

Food was great. No complaints. Love the beans and meats. Sweet tea was TOO sweet. 99% sure I got diabetes from it.
Sauce tray was all greasy. Lady working register was a sweetheart and catered to us well

We are familiar with Dickey's from our time in WA state, so we knew what to expect. Food, overall, was good. Ribs were rather dry, but everything else was great. Son got a huge Baker loaded with toppings. It was nice to have a familiar favorite!
