OK where do I start. First of all the kids at the to go window don't really know the menu. It's a lot of playing and standing around. People are friendly however I came there to eat. The ribs are absolutely the toughest ribs I ever ate. Or should I say tried to eat. This was the worst barbecue, I've ever had. The fish was the 🌟. But I really don't think it was cat fish.

Called to specifically check to see if they had baby back ribs on menu before placing our dinner order. Was told they did. In fact the person I spoke with had me hold on so she could check. We continued to place a large order. On arrival to pick up our food I was told they were out of Baby back ribs. They did not take my phone number so I had to order a substitute while the rest of my order sat. I would have ordered on line and had paid from home and had order delivered. BUT I was told can only order baby back ribs on phone not on line. So you see why I’m unhappy. A good mgr would have comped me the substitute meal, but that did not happen.

Held an event in the banquet room. family reunion. complete chaos. People had their entrees but no first soda/tea an hour + into the meal. they had numbered the seats/paper menus but still yelled the plates and sides at us when they brought out the food. sat down trays of drinks across the room from us and we had to go get them and try to figure out what was what. the ribs were tough, the brisket was dry. we had to buss our tables just to make room for our plates. terrible terrible disappointment.
We came here while in town for a weekend get away. The place is very nice! The biscuit/butter they give you when you sit down is sooo good! I ordered the pulled pork with 2 trimming (Mac and cheese and a loaded baked potato) the Mac and cheese was fantastic! Very creamy. The loaded potato was sooo good! Very buttery. I will say the pulled pork was just not up to expectations. My husband got the pulled pork sand-which and only gave it a 5/10 rating. Other than that, the service was great! Alora was our server and she was very kind and was always checking in on us. Would like to come back and try something else next time. They were out of Beef.

We stopped in for lunch. Service was good and friendly. I wasn’t impressed with the cleanliness of the tables. Had to have mine recleaned. Had the pulled pork sandwich with collards. Sandwich serving size was great. Collards done well. Also had the Carolina pulled pork with coleslaw and fries. Coleslaw serving with a little anemic but all else good. It was lunch crowd there and the atmosphere a little noisy. The cheesy pop overs are fantastic.

This used to be one of the only places I ate from when I came to pooler, now ill eat from anywhere BUT here. Their food used to be amazing. Especially the brisket which is what I always get, & its not a cheap plate either. They used to just give you juicy brisket but now they ask if you want it lean or marbled. If you get it lean it'll be dry, & hard, if you get it marbled it will come covered in fat with barely any meat. I picked the massive amount of fat off the brisket to taste the meat and it was choppy & unappetizing. 25.00 on a brisket plate & I threw it away, not to mention i ordered two. The only thing good now are the biscuits

Tried to order something off the drive thru menu to be told you can only order that inside shouldn't have a drive thru menu if you can't make what is on the drive thru menu.

Drive thru woman kept saying anything else after everything we said like she was in a rush to make us leave just to waste our time and say they’re out of pork. How is a bbq place out of pork? Terrible customer service and will not eat at this place again.

Placed an order online for pickup, and was told the food would be ready in 15 minutes. When we showed up to pick up our food (after the quoted 15 minutes) we had to wait another 15. The person working the to-go window said one of our salads was made wrong so they were remaking it and gave us 6 extra biscuits for the inconvenience.

Editing review..
More than a handful of times, I've arrived around 11:20 for lunch and had to leave because they tell me it'll be 60-90 minutes for lunch. How do you open at 11 not prepared to serve people?
Service was great before COVID.. no wonder the staff left and didn't return.

Food is mediocre at best and prices are high. The brisket was mainly fat and the sides were not good. I would suggest another restaurant.
This place consistently out of something. Usually, the ribs are out. Food is usually mid warm or cold. Service is sketchy.

Attitude, Attitude. I got not sauces for my food & it was cold & burnt. Asking for sauces is like begging I got two bbq plates no bbq sauces & no butter. They gave me 1 sauce for 2 plates. 1 butter for s dozen cold biscuits. Spent almost $50 just to drive back. Lady who came behind me was missing stuff. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!
