Garbage service, Fantastic Pizza. Would much rather take out than dine in so I don’t have to be accompanied by the rude red head cashier.

They make you order at the counter. Pay and print out a charge receipt. No detailed receipt. Will argue with you about what you did and didn’t order, but you have no ground to stand because they never have you a detailed receipt, just an expense bill. I have been eating here for years, will continue to eat it, would just rather take it home from now on.

Lovezzola's Pizza and Sub in Pooler, Georgia, is a hidden gem that stands out in a world of chain restaurants. With a large private parking lot and an old-school charm featuring red vinyl booths, hanging light shades, and cloth curtains, this place exudes classic pizza joint vibes.

This family-run restaurant thrives on tradition, making their own dough, meatballs, and sauces in-house. It's clear that their commitment to quality ingredients and old-fashioned methods shines through in every bite. I enjoyed a personal pizza on my first visit—New York style with high-gluten dough—and it was fantastic. Today, I had their large meatball sub, and it was nothing short of phenomenal. Homemade sauce and meatballs make all the difference.

The friendly, family atmosphere enhances the experience, making it clear why they’ve built such a strong reputation. If you're in Pooler, Georgia, do yourself a favor and check out Lovezzola's for an authentic, delicious pizza experience.

It was near closing time on a Monday night and my wife and I ordered a medium 2 topping pizza. Pepperoni and green peppers. I went to pick it up and while they were getting it made, I told them how much would that be. He said $24.83. I said...are you kidding me? Then he said that rather than throw it out, I could let him know how much I'd pay for it. Once again I said, Are you kidding me?. I walked out. After going back to the hotel, I looked up their menu. A 2 topping medium was $16.75. They must have thought they could con an older man like myself, but that didn't happen. You wonder how many others they've done this to. Just a word of caution to others. Better check your receipt before you leave this place to avoid getting ripped off. Maybe it was my Texas plates he seen when I drove up, but we're smarter in Texas than he thinks. I'll make a report with their Chamber Of Commerce before we he'd back home. Places like this need to be put out of buisness, period!

Lovezolla’s is a sweet gem. Favorite pizza joint by far in Pooler. Fresh and tasty pizza every time. Love to support a locally owned restaurant. The crew are young kids in school, which you don’t really see often anymore and the quality of food is consistent. Yum!!!!

Me and my wife love to try out new things when we go out of town. So we wanted to try a new pizza spot and let me tell you the atmosphere was out of this world! Service was great, food was just marvelous!! Them buffalo wings was the cherry on top, crunchy, tasty, and presentation?. Best believe we will be back and thank you for the meal and hospitality?

Our household loves this place! Last time, we got a pizza and the cinnamon sticks. Both were delicious. My family owned a pizza place growing up, which is why I love the atmosphere. It just feels like home. You can truly tell that they care & love what they do. The servers we have encountered have all been super sweet.

My Husband and I just had amazing calzone’s and Cinnamon sticks from Lovezollas I’m excited to try more items on the menu!

It clearly shows a family owned and operated business can provide the best food and service!

Let’s support local businesses with delicious food!

Clean plate club that’s for sure!

First visit here.
You order and pay at the counter. The food was decent. The garlic knots were pretty much twisted bread with little garlic and no flavor.
No one came to our table asking if we needed refills, the waitress went to one table to refill drinks as we heard the owner was sitting there with friends. Reminded us of a CiCi's Pizza even though it seems like an older establishment.
It was good if you're just passing through the area and everything else is closing early on Sunday.

We went at noon on a Sunday. Ordered spaghetti, antipasto salad and chicken parmesan. Everything was delicious! The -1☆, short of being a 5, is because there were no gluten free pasta or bread options.
We've been here before and we will be back.

A tale of two managers. Went to Lovezzolas, terrible experience. Basically our carry out order was given to a door dasher and 50 minutes later- still no food. Checked on food and was given the “I can take $5 off or refund your money”. Chose the money refund-no chance of the food coming now- even though it was not our mistake- it was like we were complete strangers asking for handouts. Got my cash and then asked about my tip- another trip back to the managers office to ask about that. So then, I had to hear- we can only cancel the transaction, you’ll get your money in 2-4 business days. So now an hour of time, no food and out money. We will never go back - which is a shame, been going here for the past 3 years. Fast forward to Stoners pizza off of Bay Street. Ordered the same thing we ordered at Lovezzolas, pizza came out, we took a bite and realized it was not what we had ordered. Said something to the person at the register (no manager required) and they offered to make another pizza immediately and rectify the situation . We thanked them for the offer, but went ahead and ate the one we received- it was delicious and all of this went down in 15 minutes. I just do not understand why the manager did not want to acknowledge anything other than “life is too short to argue” at Lovezzolas- plenty if opportunity to fix that issue, but it was an all around fail.

I first discovered Lovezzola’s over a decade ago while traveling through Savannah. This was my first time stopping by in four years. Every time the food has been delicious and the service has been excellent. The atmosphere has a welcoming nostalgic vibe that makes you feel like you’re in a local family restaurant. This is the best place for pizza in town!

I visited this place back in 2019 on a trip to Savannah, GA and I still think about this place to this day. Some of the best pizza I’ve ever eaten! Glad to see it’s remained open since then! Hope to visit one day!
