Nestled along Highway 80 Southeast in Pooler, Georgia, Mo Bay Island Cuisine isn't just a restaurant—it's an experience that will transport you to the vibrant flavors of the Caribbean. From the moment you pull into the spacious, clean parking lot, you know you're in for something special.Stepping inside, you're greeted by an adorable, impeccably clean restaurant space adorned with charming dining room tables and shades, setting the perfect atmosphere for a delightful meal. The counter service system makes ordering a breeze, and within moments, you're ready to indulge in the culinary treasures of Jamaica.Let's talk about the food—oh, the food! My taste buds were sent into overdrive with every bite. The beef patty, a true masterpiece, was undoubtedly one of the best I've ever had the pleasure of savoring. But the real star of the show was the brown chicken with cabbage and Johnny cakes. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, a delightful dance on the palate. And those Johnny cakes! Crispy, crunchy, and utterly delightful, they stole the spotlight with their irresistible charm. But the goodness doesn't stop there. Mo Bay Island Cuisine goes above and beyond by offering retail items and special holiday treats like spiced cakes during Easter, ensuring that every visit is a celebration.Thirsty? Fear not! Their selection of Jamaican sodas and beer choices provides the perfect accompaniment to your meal, elevating your dining experience to new heights. And let's not forget about the staff—warm, welcoming, and downright delightful. Dining at Mo Bay Island Cuisine feels like eating with family or friends, making each visit a memorable one.So, if you're ready to embark on a culinary journey to the islands, look no further than Mo Bay Island Cuisine. Come taste the island and prepare to be swept away by a wave of flavor and hospitality.

My husband and I stopped at Mo’Bays Jamaican Cuisine restaurant on our way to FL. This place is not far off I95 so convenient to get to and park. I got chicken stew, rice and beans and island slaw. My husband got jerk pork with same sides. Medium sized portions are very generous. The chicken was so tender it fell off the bone. Delicious. The rice and beans very good too. The island slaw was vinegar based, different and very complimentary to the entree. My husband said the pork was a bit spicy but so flavorful he couldn’t stop eating! The place is clean. The staff is very friendly and provide great customer service by checking on patrons making sure they’re enjoying their meals. A winner! Such a wonderful change from Chain restaurants while traveling.

Overall solid. Chicken was good not great. Cabbage was excellent. Plantains excellent. Green beans were straight from a can - why have that on the menu. Coconut drop was fine - caramel was crystallized too much.
