On our drive from Fort Lauderdale back to Boston, we discovered this Japanese restaurant just a mile off I-95 near Savannah, South Carolina. It was around dinnertime, and the restaurant was fully packed when we arrived. We ordered a sushi platter for one and an unagi don. Both dishes exceeded our expectations! The unagi don was perfectly cooked, and the sushi was incredibly fresh and tender, with just the right amount of fish. We were very pleased with our meal and would recommend it to anyone.

We stayed in Pooler overnight and found this place not far from the hotel. We both had a Bento Box and it was very good. The portions were great and the food was very tasty. Our server Erica could not have been nicer. She was attentive and very efficient.

The overall atmosphere is gritty and the servers are friendly.
I didn't expect to eat raw fish and sushi in the US, but it was better than I expected.
Of course, it would be cheaper to eat meat, but it was nice and clean to eat fish after eating only American-style meat for a month.
