Real tacos 🌮 the original taste.
Let me tell you something. My wife is Mexican; straight from Mexico. I go to Mexico. These tacos, and the juices they serve on authentic. The food here is the closest you'll get to real tacos from Mexico, in GA. When my wife says she likes the tacos here more than the other places around, that should tell you something.

Plenty of parking out front makes it easy to stop in, but once you step inside, be prepared—the space gets tight fast, especially during the lunch rush or on weekends. Seating is split between bar stools and a small number of tables, so it’s best to be patient.
One thing worth noting is that this place feels truly authentic. Most of the customers are Spanish-speaking locals, which in my opinion is a good sign you’re in the right spot for real Mexican food. Don’t let that intimidate you—the staff are friendly, approachable, and quick to help. Just walk up to the counter, ask if a seat or table is open, and you’ll be taken care of.
I ordered tripa tacos, tacos al pastor, and a pineapple aguas frescas. The drink was refreshing and had that fresh, homemade flavor (solid 8/10), while the tacos landed around a 7/10. Overall, this was the closest to authentic tacos I’ve had in this part of Georgia, which makes it worth a visit.
It’s not the biggest place, and it does get crowded, but the food and atmosphere make up for it. I’d definitely come back again when I’m craving something genuine and flavorful.

Came in at lunchtime on Friday. The place was dead, that was first sign.
I sat down, had to wait 5 min to get any service. Ended up being the cook (apron and all) who took my order. The place was not short staffed, they just couldn't be bothered.
Once the order was placed, the food came out in a pretty quick time. Texas rice, not bad, not real good either.
Once the food was delivered, that was last I saw of anyone; I ate over 20 min, only 1/2 the food (bonus it's large portion). Not once did any come by to refill a drink, ask if I needed anything....
Ended up running out of drink, couldn't eat anymore. Left half the food, dropped cash on table, and walked out...no one asked/said anything.
I will NEVER go back there.
Steer clear unless you want to be ignored. Much better places in Pooler, El Sazon for example: the have great food, and even better service.

The street style tacos here are amazing! They have meat options that you do not find at the typical Mexican restaurants. The tripa and suadero were delicious. This is my go to taco spot if I am in Pooler.

Okay, I’ll just say it.this place is so close to being perfect. All they’re lacking for me are margaritas. lol But they do have Agua Frescas and they’re delicious! The tacos are amazing! The chorizo queso is our number 1 choice for an appetizer. Husband loves the tortas too! We love this place. It’s authentic! If you’re looking for a Mexican American style restaurant, this is not the place. (Chips and salsa are not served as that is not authentic. & everything isn’t covered in cheese lol I like those places too but just be aware.) This is our favorite spot for tacos!

Food is great but I wish they’d take a customer service course or something. Other than that everything is good

The only reason why I'm giving this place a 1 star is because the server with RED AND BLACK HAIR WAS VERY RUDE. I had just walked in the restaurant and before I decided where I wanted to sit she asked what I want to drink, I asked for certain drink and she said there all out because of water pollution and idk what else. So the only option was soda and beer, so finally we looked over the menu and she came by asking if we were ready and even before I responded she walked away 😒 once I placed my meal she confirms the order with me and my food never came. She said did someone else bring it to me or if I was gonna eat 😤😒🙄😡 i told her what i ordered and mind you its been 25 mins n than she place my food, she took her time. Very rude chick. Make sure u ask for another server if u want to eat in peace. Or she gotta go ! Never had a problem here, she was definitely a new girl 😒🙄 but food was 10/10. If I can I'd give her a 0/10 👎👎👎

This food is phenomenal! Service is friendly and patient. Soda is from a bottle not a fountain which was disappointing. The only real problem is they don't have the central air running and you'll sweat through your clothes before the food comes if you're dining in. It was unbearably hot inside. Next time we'll be sure to order to go!
